He died a few months ago at the age of 47, and his drum set on stage in memorial is a great tribute to the legend in the drumming community.

The ability to condense such a detailed and rich performance into just 13 minutes is truly amazing. I see pure excellence.

  • People don't realize the homage and respect Usher brought to the old school half-time shows and the venue. Marching bands were a staple of half-time shows and was long forgotten and brought it back and showed the dazzle and glamor of acrobatic performances Vegas is famous for. All blended together with his old school music and bringing the original performers for his hits rather than doing it solo.

  • People saying “these are Michael moves not Ushers” who the hell do you think taught Usher to dance? Usher used to look up to him growing up and would study his moves and in 2001, they had a dance off sharing the stage. And a few years prior to Mj’s death they did a few events together and he learned a lot from him. So obviously he had inspired dance moves from Michael.

  • Usher is just earned his ICON status!!! While his career already made him a LEGEND, this masterpiece in motion is one of, if not, the BEST Super Bowl Halftime Shows ever!!! The way he used the arena as his stage, selection of guest appearances, pace of the performed songs, his vocal ability while dancing, inclusion skating and stripping and the thoughtful tribute to his legends and the beautiful and heartfelt tribute to his drummer….. I literally have tears in my eyes!!! This is a powerful performance and listening to recent interviews and hearing him speak on his life and how he’s growing and evolving, USHER RAYMOND is a phenomenal BLACK MAN, artist, performer, and human being!!!! Here’s to our living ICON!!!!🎉❤🥰🎊

MJ been on stage since he was 5 yrs old man smh. and u can't forget Bobby..he is a older man now. • Just had a time to walk through memory lane because I was watching The Weekend's, Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and now Usher's performance. This is so freaking awesome! Which I watched this sooner.
