There are major plotholes if we are trying to connect predator and alien canon such as David creating xenomorphs and Weyland being alive AVP so I’ll briefly mention how these plotholes can be resolved and for the detailed explanation check out my previous video Did the engineers creat the predators. So given the fact, all 3 species exist in the same universe, here is the complete timeline of everything that happened so far on the screen.
3.2 Billion years An extraterrestrial race the Engineers arrived on Earth and created life using a mysterious substance, which is supposedly the blood of the first deacon according to the early Prometheus script.

The Predators, another extraterrestrial race arrives on Earth and teaches humans to build pyramids. as a result pyraminds are built all across the globe in the next centuries.
It’s highly likely that Engineers created Predators as one of their experiments with the black goo.
0 BC Engineers prepare to launch A ships filled with pathogen ampuls to derstoy life on Earth but the infection gets released and kills the engineers on LV223. On the top of that according to the early script, engineers decided to destroy humans because of the crusifiction of Jesus who was the last hope of humanity to stop being a violence race.

Actually this has been in a comic and the predator didnt stand a chance, yet in the movie the Engineer looked weaker, so my guess is that the engineers have a cast system, so the scientist would be far weaker than warriors, this explains why the engineer in the comics kicked the predators ass

I’ve had seen only a couple Predator vs. Alien clips here and there till i got to watch the Prey movie. It made me interested in this universe but now after watching your video and couple others, i think this franchise needs a reboot since they made too much movies set in the future. A reboot would also be crazy good if we could see Yautja or Xenomorph movies explaining their worlds and how they live, what they do etc.

Something that an audience member can casually look at and think “hey that looks really familiar”. It would be a small reveal to casual fans and a HUGE reveal to hardcore fans. Something like a xenomorph skull being within a pile of a bunch of other skulls. Anything. A burnt facehugger egg. A corpse with a hole in it’s chest as if something burst out of it. Anything.
So we firstly seen the result, then moved forward in the storie, then by using flashbacks we constanty moves backwards to observe the more details of the storie. Amazing explanation, effective and simple. I love it

I know Scott Riddley made Prometheus and the Engineers to re-write the old AVP lore that he ended up hating, but I've always had a soft spot for the AVP storylines so I love being able to connect them. Thank you for this.
It wasn't to rewrite AvP at all. They aren't the same lore.
He made Prometheus because he wanted to have a new franchise with its own standalone story (similar to how Raised By Wolves isn't connected to any of his other work). Studio execs made him add the Xenomorph plot and connect it to the existing franchise.

After the events of the Blade Runner movies Predators got weirded out by Earth. By the year 2386 (during the events of Alien: Resurrection) Earth had become a shithole and it's unlikely Predator cared to go there anymore, especially with David's planet of Xenomorphs around which was like a paradise for Predators.
The predators come back in avp 1 - 3 the games take place during the alien movies, avp 2010 takes place between alien 3 and ressurection, avp 2 takes place almost after alien 3, predator concrete jungle shows theres a mystery mr weyland and its 2030, bishop died in 2004. So its obviously peter..his son or relative.

There's nothing connecting Engineers to Yautja, for all we know it is equally plausible Yautja existed before Engineers.
The only thing we know connect them is that a few yuatja hunted and killed some engineers. I like to think they are just two diffrent species that has no real connection besides maybe a war or so.

I like to think that the engineers did create the predators but after seeing how they evolved and how developed they became tried to eradicate them but the predators fought back so hard that they basically gave up and avoided any contact with them., could explain why the encounters between the 2 species is always confrontational.
Well big problem here... Alien and Predator aren't the same universe or canon. AvP uses both but isn't connected to either of their lore and canons either.

I can understand that the technology form the predators was taken, but were taking about in just one year that flying cars, buildings that are thousands of feet tall, and replicates all being created in just one year form the modern setting that the predators took place is hard to swallow for me? that's just too big of a technological leap for me! in such a short time .

This is amazing! This franchise gets such a bad rep. But, clearly it is so in depth and interesting. The alien franchise is really some of the best sci fi horror cinematic movies ever - period
They just chose to make 1 hit movies instead of doing something like avengers where it all ties together and easy to understand

Well it might be that this hybrid contains much more human DNA and biological traits. This could explain why its less aggressive towards humans and more towards other xenomorphs.
@@Specoups it was a hybrid in alien ressurection because ripley burned herself to death but weyland yutani found her dna and cloned her because he knew she was host to an alien....so through cloning they shared dna from each other ripley was also a xenomrph hybrid in that movie technically that's why she had acid for blood

If we are trying to be realistic the sunken queen is dead due to water pressure. I have no idea how deep the ocean there but 100m + would be deadly af plus xenomorphs are reptiles not fish

Dont tell me they can survive that.
