as a cello player I can confirm we are able to summon orchestras at will
😂
XD hahaha
YTREWW1
Yeah It's fun when we can do that
I knew it!!!😂😂😂😂
The cello is so badass, legend says if you play it well enough, you will summon an entire orchestra.
Not sure how she managed to summon an entire orchestra then! 😉
Hm...maybe she practiced 40 hours a day@@nailsbyb2999
You can summon an entire era.
You really felt the need to repeat the same comment everyone was making months before you? How about a quick scroll before commenting to make sure your comment isn't already redundant?
@@eddieelizabethhitler3259many of the comments are sourced from when footage was coming through tech. Actually connected to a lot. May be why the comments are repeated. It is connected to industry and govt how they chose to engage for a certain matter.
so good that she summoned a whole orchestra
Well, she summoned the sounds of her cello as well, as you can see on her fingers.
well, she's kind of a witch so...
It's background for you guys
kzhead.info/sun/fdWhka5rhnqam4E/bejne.html
Its fake as no one can learn playing cello so good in 1 month! It takes over 6-7 years to learn playing this on cello
She plays so well her fingers dont even move 😵
IKR she is like, tOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTALLLY supreme *sarcasm if you couldn't tell lol.
uhh yes they do?
They do move (unless your talking about the second part we’re it’s just a picture of her on the cello)
well considering how there is like a 30 foot fire next to her while she is acting, and pretending to play a whole instrument she doenst play she is doing fine
@@blackhawkrescuemissiongame8461 You know something's wrong when the gamer guy tries to say something.
Classical musicians say that it’s fake, but pop lovers say that it’s perfect.
i’m classical and i say it’s fake, or at least the orchestra in the back lol
Fake? It's still an art expression....
@@peterzimmerman1114 Yeah I know that, I'm commenting on the fact that one violinist isn't making the sound of a whole orchestra, I mean it still sounds cool regardless.
@@dragonluvsdeidara8077shes a cellist, don’t sound like a classical musician to me

The smile on wednesday is like I know you know and you know I dont care. Love it!💜💜💜
Yeah
Lol literally
Wednesday bullshit
More of a smirk xd
Couldn’t have said it any better 💯
Well, she did a cram study on the cello for at least two months in order to be able to fake-play it for the series. And, she did a damned good job of it. "Wednesday" has, almost single-handedly, made the cello cool, again, for young folks. And _that_ is quite an achievement. Yes sir.
"'Wednesday' has almost made the cello cool again" what are you talking about bruh cello has always been popular and "cool" if that's how you want to phrase it. You say young folks but you really have no maturity considering you think a single Netflix show made an instrument originating from hundreds of years ago "cool"
If u think that ur twitter timeline (which is probably full of either dsmp or anime) is an accurate representation of how popular an instrument is then u need to maybe realize that you think it’s not popular because you don’t see it because you aren’t recommended it because you don’t look at that kind of stuff, but I see it often and it’s popular in different communities. You’re twitter feed isn’t the only way to measure popularity smh. And sure, Jenna Ortega did a good job mimicking the posture and technique to play cello in the little time she had, but just because she was able to do that doesn’t mean she’s suddenly a goddamn saint to the cello community and revived it. Literally any Netflix show is only going to marginally increase the popularity of cello or any instrument, idc how popular it seems now on your twitter “timeline” (which given you say that makes me think you’re not old enough to understand that there are people out there that you don’t see in your twitter cliques or on twitter at all because it’s a really dumb platform), literally go outside or listen to some music that isn’t your anime osts or whatever, like classical or even some genres of pop before making a statement like that
I’m not denying Wednesday is a good show, it is, but it did not make cello popular again especially because it shows her playing like twice throughout the entire thing. It’s also not like a world changing show like Squid Game and it had a lot of plot holes but it was still a good show, but not really game changing
Before Covid there were a lot of street musicians in the city where I live and I can say that cello was a popular "pick" aside from a guitar or a violin. Interestingly enough, I don't remember many solo cellists - they usually played in groups. Not that it proves anything - just an observation in a random European city.
@@lucasrhee2401 holy dude its not that serious
Who ever actually played this part for the show played perfectly the fact that they could play that fast and in tune is truly amazing
Jenna Ortega she's 20!
She did😂
She did!❤
@@liv2503 She didn’t. She learned how to fake-play it and considering she didn’t move her fingers at all, it wasn’t a very good recreation.
@@ntbored7727 lol she went to cello lessons all the time

This is my favourite scene of the whole show, Jenna ortego just killing it with the cello, a statue engulfed in flames and a guy sleeping through it all
The guy didn't fall asleep purposely 😭😭😭 he fell asleep on set and Tim Burton just decided to add it

She’s so talented she played the whole orchestra
Funniest thing is that she’s playing the “Winter, allegro non molto”, which in italian means “Winter, not so happy”. Aside from being a good piece for soundtrack, it fits perfectly.
This piece portrays that line- stamping on ones feet from the piece.... it suits well
Amazing scene 🔥

@@sudhirs5375 episode 3
its blatantly unrealistic in terms of instrumentation
The scene was blast pun intended and Wednesday’s chaotic attitude sells it
She used her willpower instead of her fingers, insane talent.
She is actually so good at cello that her fingers are in fact moving, but the movements are so fast they arent visible to the human eye.
She summoned a whole orchestra by herself
We make out of vardhouss fortress with this one🗣️🗣️🔥🔥💯💯
She's not even moving her fingers 😂good bowing tho
@@Washagofishing yeah but at least it looks better than most actors’
@@andrewcamagay6255 Tbh in my opinipon, if the most she does in the show is play cello, she could have practiced more
I love Vivaldi and have listened to it countless times over 50 years, but this performance is the best, and the Winter in the Four Seasons is fantastic.
People are really upset, that she is not actually playing the cello? Do you really expect her to learn playing the cello for a 30 second scene… 😂
Fr💀
She is actually
She did actually learned how to play the cello.
@@zero755 She did learn, but only to know where to place the fingers, not to actually played it, I think its a great performance tho
@@danmusicovers No she did learn formally. She's just a beginner level.
I hate how everyone says "Where did the entire orchestra come from?", it's just common sense that the orchestra part was background music not playing in that scene in real but was being played for us just behind the scene. They merged the two plays together for us to enjoy. 😐 And now criticism is gonna arrive here soon.
only the cello part is diegetic, fun to think about
@@oldcowbb yeah, it is.
This scene is really funny to me as someone who is a musician but I mean she tried her best. It's just so distracting when there is a whole orchestra playing behind her even though it's just her playing on the screen.
I like to imagine this is her imagination complementing the score.
Che bellezza la vita ! Un mercoledì così al tramonto non lo mai visto ! Un bel giovedì oggi veramente!
I wonder who actually played the cello in the scene, it's clear that she was only acting here (although it's WAY better than most actors, she actually got most of the positions correct)

What’s surprising is that Jenna Ortega does actually play the cello in Wednesday, despite having no prior experience with the instrument. She began taking cello lessons twice a week, two months before filming for the series began.

Piano geleyin sanatı ❤🎉
i love wednesday 💕💕♡♡
I find that it isn't important that the actual instrument in the video doesn't match up with what the actress is playing, it's called overdoing, speaking as an actual music student here. And also, the sound of the entire orchestra is just dramatized (which isn't a crime), like in God of War Ragnarök (no spoilers), Ræb pulls out his hurdy-gurdy and plays a solo, and out of nowhere an entire orchestra can be heard. Canonically, she's not playing that sound, just that solo piece, everything else is just for dramatization.
このシーンのウェンズデーは一際美しい。
the fact that everyones pointing out how theres more than one instrument playing- guys, come on... this is the adams family we are talking about here. Wedesday's ability to summon additional ambience should be the least bit surprising.
