Surprised that that Bile Titan still had a face to spray acid from 😂
He's aiming a bit too far down - I found it's more consistent to hit the bile titan higher up on its face. Same idea with chargers where ppl instinctively aim at its mouth but it actually doesn't oneshot compared to just aiming anywhere above that.
He kept punching the brain further in 😂

@@imapepper3601 For chargers, anywhere above the mouth is fine. Just gotta hit its rhombus-shaped face plate. For bile titans, I just aim for forehead to decrease the chances of hitting it too low on its face (due to the upward angle we fire at it from).

With the inconsistency with the Quasar (as well as the RR and the EAT) I can tell you what's up; The reason you and others are having issues; it's because you need to hit the TOP of the Carapace on their head. While they are spewing etc, that Carapace tilts back and is easy to miss, and you hit the MOUTH instead. Same with the Chargers, BTW; it's the TOP of the Carapace on their head.

There's the saying/command in the military, "Fire for effect." I feel that's what the thermite grenade is going to be. It's going to stick to whatever, keep burning it, and have an actual effect in killing it. I know that's not the meaning of the command "Fire for effect." but it still feels fitting to have some incendiary tool that enemies can't just step out of and we don't have to stand 2 meters away from in order to use it effectively.
@@steeljawX Sounds kind of like the firestar from titanfall 2, also fitting that titanfall 2 had titans orbital drop from a ship in space.

@@joeserra9825 a grenade that sticks to a giant enemy and chips down its Hp would be so sick. They could also make headshots repeatedly stagger the enemy as if they were blinded like titans in TF2.

A huge difference between the breaker and incendiary is the ammo count. You get 7 magazines with 13 rounds each for the breaker for a total of 91 rounds. You get 6 magazines of 25 each with the incendiary for a total of 150 rounds. 59 additional shots per supply, and you don't have to penetrate the armor to chip at it with fire damage. It's fantastic.

I found your channel a few days ago and watching your game play is already improving my own. The QC BI combo is great. I also like to pair the BI with a grenade launcher in a party, it's a pretty good kit for wiping packs. I like having more ammo for bursting enemies in groups, if another party member has heavy armor pen. Love the content, cheers.

Great video and gameplay! Until the wiff on the Extraction hehe. Definitely a gruelling test of the Incendiary given the heavier mix of mobs. Going to give that build a shot later tonight.

Loved the incendiary nade today, never had so little trouble with brood commanders, hive guards and breaches
Yeah the nade is ridiculous, but it is meant to be the hoard killer of nades so it fills that role perfectly. Get a flamethower on top of that and you kill everything in a few seconds aside from Chargers/Bile Titans. The flamethower can actually deal with hunters now that DoT and Ground Fire deals damage (just note: Non-Host DoT doesn't apply damage correctly)

I don't think there's any explosive resistance with the bile titan when it's spewing. I think you're just not aiming for the forehead properly, as that big open mouth is too tempting a target. The forehead armour plate is where you should be aiming every shot. Also remember when you ran with the railgun and it was like one EAT + 2 railgun shots, whereas it takes like around 13 railgun shots only to take it out. It's reason to assume the Quasar/EAT-17/RR weapons deal north of 80% damage to the head, so any resistance would be unlikely to make it take 3 shots.
This is pretty much correct. The shots on the first titan in the vid were hitting too low to count for the 2 shot zone.
plus when bt charges the spew it's hard to shoot the forehead facing it
Where you spoke about the artillary shells colours; the mini nuke is not yellow anymore, it is black. If i'm not mistaken I think yellow was replaced by the high yield explosive

I noticed that aswell. Idk what promted that change. I liked being able to easily tell which shells are the Napalm. Iirc they looked like a sabot shell. It's really hard to tell which ones are smoke now.
High yield is more orange, yellow is no more ... Red is napalm, explosive is green, blue stays the same, grey for smoke and black for nuke. Idk why they changed it so much just to add high yield explosive, but it is what is is.
@@ipatchymakouli415 High Yield was a slightly different shade of red. I guess making each one it's own color is useful, but then smoke and nuke are now quite similar, so I don't know either xD

Hey Takibo, what sorta specs does your gaming PC have? Love the content and the laid back instructive patter while decimating the hoards of bugs.
I absolutely love the buff to fire damage, try giving napalm strike or fire nades a try. They basically shut down bug breaches or at least weakens them if non-host (there is a bug where DoT like poison and burning doesn't apply properly when non-host), and the flamethower kills the rest
Was gonna say this. DPS status don't work if you're not the host. So they're basically only single player.
Dot damage doesn't only work for the host... In my experience, incendiary breaker users burn their allies pretty well!

Killing enemies after timer expires should increase shuttle departure time by 1 second per kill, just to give you a bit more chances to reach the pelican.

I'm in love with the breaker incen, you can also shoot everything once,l et the fire ticks fall off and then shoot a second time to kill basically every bug that isnt a charger or brood commander bile titan etc. you can use the fire dot to conserve lots of ammo too

it feels good to use basically like a long range flamethrower, just raining flaming shrapnel into groups and letting the fire ticks kill all the small enemies. It does struggle slightly with devastators but I've been pairing this with the newly buffed AMR which covers that weakness beautifully.

About the 2-3 shot kill for the bile titan, I think it has something to do with the hit box, like you said with the chargers, when they buck back to start their charge it is much harder to hit them and you will probably get left with just a body shot. So my guess is that when the bile titan goes to spit bile, it’s head gets positioned in an awkward spot that will make it difficult to land a clean headshot.
I mostly use the PS5 controller on PC, If you can get used to Gyro aiming with it, it can make up for that last miniscule amount of inaccuracy from the control sticks.

Life-saving tip: dropping and picking any weapon/hard drive fixes most glitches, even hug glitch too. Disclaimer: Dropping the hard drive, except from the drop item menu, such as switching to a 2h weapon or picking up ammo/samples/etc will almost always glitch you. Dont panic and pick it up again to fix it back
Ive loved this weapon before the new update. I enjoy just unloading an entire mag at a swarm and watching them go down. A full mag should take out brood commanders before they can reach you even from pretty close. when in doubt I just unload a full mag and it creates so much space between you and the enemy. But now I can’t wait to try it out.
I also only chose this gun cuz it looks like the John wick 4 scene hahaha It just looks super cool hahahahha
you can call in another quasar when clearing out a heavy nest and swap between them. Shoot with one, while its on cd grab the other one. They don't share a cd

Hey takibo and fellow helldivers! For the artery shells you can chuck them instead of picking and dropping them. I've made a post on reddit with a video showcase, but all you need to do is pick up the shell slightly behind you then quickly switch to any weapon and it will go flying.
Interesting, the muscle memory of pick-and drop is probably too stuck in everyones head.
What they should do is limit the range of any weapon that shoots rockets. This forces you to goto the shrieker nest to gain the reward more so than if it had samples since lots of people now are maxed and no longer need samples
It happened to you too! I swear, the BT head's hotbox got messed p in the patch. My EATs and Quasar shots keep going through it and exploding on the back or legs
With the Incen breaker i run medium armor and use the extra grenades in some of them, I utilize the grenades a lot more when running this weapon.
Breaker incendiary can put several targets on fire if u shoot at a group. Small chip dmg can put bugs on fire. You can also accidentally put ur teammates on fire
Where it really shines is clearing out a pack because of the good spread plus the burn damage.
I like to believe divers who are left behind just try to camp out for a while until they see another team come in from orbit they try to go lwith them
I kinda miss the discarding sabot look to some of the SEAF artillery rounds, but hey as long as it demonstrates democracy…IM ALL FOR IT
This gun was my go to gun against bugs even before the buff
The quasar did not have the change you described, at least not in ADS. I have been feathering lmb to hold a charge and wait for a good shot on it pretty much since it came out. The damn hulks have a habit of looking away from me right before I'm going to fire.

This plus flamethrower and incendiary could be super fun. Just can't really play solo unless you avoid titans/hulks or solely use orbitals on them

The "Eagle 110mm Rocket Pods" are surprisingly effective against Bile Titans.
About the SEAF. I believe they added a new variant. So now we have Mini Nuke. High Explosive, and the new "Explosive".

The marksman rifle that got the buff is good if you use it in first person. The aiming is so much better that way
I spray the brood commanders legs with the breaker incendiary also hitting the smaller bugs usually accompanied him
I believe that with the current situation of the other primary weapons, if they returned the Breaker to its original firepower, it would not be unbalanced.
Hope they fix the fact this "insane" damage only works through the host's system which is why other players may find it underwhelming. This messed up tick rate is also why Hulks are killing you in 1 hit. Thanks Arrowhead!! They need to get a grip fr

Just needs to be usable for non host players, or is that already fixed? I usually solo, so the dot effects only working for host stuff doesn't usually impact me.

Yeah they didn't fix it non-host, but the ground fire 100% does work so fire nades, napalm, and flamethower are a solid choice for controlling hoards of enemies

I felt like I kill swarm faster with normal breaker. But becoming fire bender is fun too because my teammates would sometime screaming in pain when I accidentally shooting them.

I too solo hell dives, though no where near as clean as you show in your videos 😂 But as for the incendiary breaker, I much prefer it over the normal one. Having worse aim missing shots with the normal one can be a lot more punishing and lead you to get overwhelmed. So the boosted magazine size makes me feel a lot more confident and in control of the engagement. Before the buff however it was garbage and I would bring arch thrower for crowd control and expandable anti tank.

The trouble you had with that bile titan is how I am with all the big boys, can't seem to hit the weak point for my life even if my reticle is right on it and nothing is moving
My favourite buff is where it does 0 damage over time when you arent hosting the game.(this applies for all DoT effects so gas strike too does nothing)
Yeah, seems like the devs weren't aware of this bug, and buffed fire damage thinking that maybe fire was just too weak. In fact, fire was fine, but 3/4ths of the players in a lobby couldn't evem use it.

Pyromaniac build is gonna be crazy with the upcoming grenade launcher secondary and thermite grenade. Incendiary Breaker + Grenade Launcher pistol + Thermite grenade/Incendiary grenade + Flamethrower = 🔥💥🗿
i’ve been addicted to the dominator after its buff, though i feel like i need to use a guard dog with it to clean up the smaller things while im shooting something
If you hit the hive guards and brood commander and let them burn a bit theyll just die without really needing too shoot too many shots at them
fire breaker has always been the goat for me. getting 12+ kills per magazines just firing into a group from a distance. you just see everything on fire scurrying around dropping dead.

gets even better if you use the red light armor with +2 gren and +accuracy while crouch/prone instead of the "stealth" scout. Speed and stamina regen are same.

Try the napalm eagle since it also got that fire dot buff. Any bug breach get annihilated

The incendiary breaker is just outright better than the normal breaker hands down, the incendiary has more ammo, more crowd control and about the same damage including the fire

From my experience the Inc. Breaker actually works better and way more efficiently if you just pump a few shots into a crowd sparsely, like literally spreading fire, wait for the fire to go away and repeat. That's about 6 shots to kill dozens (I had a 25 killstreak within a single mag before), and you save ammo, like all of your ammo. It's a shoot and forget type of gun, similar to a timer based grenade launcher if you wish. Let the fire burn. It makes a big change in how you play!
How long is the Dot? I guess I could check a weapon guide how the dots with in this game but if you ok answering I'd appreciate it
