Welcome to Movie Shortens. A killer is stalking the women of Norway whom he believes are poor mothers. Detective Harry Hole is pulled into the case by a letter he receives picturing a snowman and taunting clues. He and his partner Katrine seek out their suspects and find an inter-mingled web involving politicians, human trafficking, doctors and their own past. Clues left in the snow lead them on a hunt across the country to catch the killer before he claims his next victim, or stops them.

It's pronounced Holy for fucks sake It's from Norwegian Crime author Jo Nesbo who is phenomenal. It's a 9 plus book series this is just a shit recap and movie about the Snowman

@@mariacorrea2481yeah I would say so. I love Michael Fassbender as an actor however whoever directed the movie did not in my opinion read the books or know what they were doing as far as directing a movie goes. If you want to start a really good series check it out. It's phenomenal

@@Willchannel90 no sane person murders or violently abuses another person. They may seem "stable" on the outside, but anyone who makes a conscious descision to kill or harm someone without some form of outside motivation other than because they can is clearly not mentally well at all.
The actors are good but the plot is stupid. Basically, the serial murderer had an abusive dad who often hit his mom and left them. His mom was devastiated and she suicided. Instead of blaming the dad, he hates the mother for leaving him and decides to kill other women. It tells you the stupid society always blames women first.
This movie is not faithfull to book at all. The motive for the killer is that he murders women who had children with other men, and then lies to their husbands that they are theirs. In the book (Spoiler alert) He kills his mother because he finds out that she is being unfaithfull and lied to him about who his real father was, he discovers this while he is looking through the bedroom window while standing on a snowman. Why they changed this i will never know, but i can asure you that the movie and the book two differnt stories. And the killers motive and story is much better and haunting at the same time.
It's sad how this movie is sillier than the first Jack Frost Mutant Killer Snoeman movie- seriously, if they made the killer use snow based means like icicles to kill or deadly pitfalls out of snow, throw any creativity to it, it would've been an interesting movie. Instead, we got........ Apparently a silly childhood memory which makes him put people in.... Snowmen???
