I guess I’ll have to explain this myself... so the trap is kind of trash because it wouldn’t ever work first of all sticky pistons can move obsidian in Minecraft so even if you did step off the pressure plate it wouldn’t even retract plus it takes a while for TNT to be set on fire by lava Ford takes time for the lava to set something on fire and fire can’t be spawn directly on TNT because it’s covered in lava and of both of those work to somehow work TnT. Hi still has a prime state or takes about three seconds for it to actually explode end of the room is about three blocks tall all by using Minecraft Most fastest way of moving sprinting while jumping you should be able to get a fair enough distance away from TNT before I can be lethal so this trap is kind of useless

If they had maybe, idk, Olivia or something, who knows how redstone works, a lot of these "traps" could be negated. In fact, if the player was given more leeway like how Minecraft actually is, most of these traps can be averted. I understand that Telltale doesn't want you to have that much freedom, but for a game that's pretty simple to understand if you actually pay attention there's plenty of ways you could've saved everyone. Even if they had mining fatigue, it doesn't stop them from still breaking it. Mining fatigue just slows your breaking speed. It doesn't prevent you from breaking anything. If this Admin was a REAL Admin he'd set them into Adventure Mode. But pfft, what do I know.

There are 6 other solutions, 1: break all of the pressure plates 2: have someone stand there until they find a wooden pressure plate, replace a stone pressure plate with the wooden one then put something on the wooden one 3: break the tnt 4: do everything quick enough 5: have someone stand there until they trap a mob inside 6: send a complaint to telltale and tell them that sticky pistons cant move obsidian so the trap shouldn't work

To all the people who thinks there's a solution! There are ways to manage to do with this cell! 1.You CAN'T break the tnt! Otherwise the Lava will fall onto you! 2. You CAN'T Break the pressure plates! Otherwise there's no power to prevent the pistons from retracting! 3.You CAN escape by: -Going back up to get wood and a random block and build a WOODEN pressure plate and place a block on it in the cell! -Going back up to get a non-flammable block to replace the tnt with that block -Going back up to get a stick and a cobblestone to make a lever and power the cell manually -Going back up,knock someone out and trap them there (now that's evil!) And I know that's A LOT OF "GOING BACK UP"
Bro, the first one, there is obsidoann blocking the lava, and lava flows slowly, so even if the lava do flow it will give you enough time to escape the cell, the second one, read up on redstone, breaking a non stepped on pressure plate will not do anything to the redstone signal... Learn your redstone bruh...

Jesse could beak the pressure plate because in sand temples in Minecraft it has a stone pressure plate that activates TNT but if you break the pressure plate the TNT doesn't explode

Ramm Boy The problem with that is that the TNT isn't below Jesse. It's on a redstone signal. So if the signal is deactivated in ANY way, that trap (which wouldn't work because of TNT, nice work Romeo) would be activated.

Nurm will also survive if you leave him behind. Duh. And I think bringing Luna is a better choice for 3 reasons: 1. Nurm actually will willingly stay behind. Luna however really doesn't want to and ends up extremely depressed if you leave her. 2. Luna is a treasure sniffing lama; bringing her with you pays off as she can sniff out treasure later which Nurm can't. 3. If you bring Luna with you, she will be happy and end up leaving Stella. Stella was very cruel to Luna, and Luna deserved a better owner.

There are a lot of solutions, even though some arent added in the game. Ivor probably thought of one of these... Break the tnt Replace a stone pressure plate with a wooden one or a gold one and drop a block on the replaced plate Say ‘this is Minecraft you noob’ and leave bc Obsidian can’t be moved by pistons Run f a s t bc Tnt doesn’t instantly explode And in the game if you choose to stay... You can just Wait for Ivor to rescue you If you think of anything else then put it in the replies and i’ll add it

I’m pretty sure I still had a lever when I did this part... Here are all the reasons that cell was stupid 1. I had a Lever could have broken 1 pressure and placed the lever keeping the signal 2. Sticky pistons can’t movie obsidian 3 Lava takes a while to set off TNT 4 TNT does not go off instantly 5 they could have broken the TNT
