  • You left out that Paccar owned Wagner Mining Equipment Co for almost twenty years and one big innovation was the introduction of the patented SAHR brake on the ST-8B LHD front end loader for underground mining in about 1988 . This braking system is widely used today in the mining industry because the patents have run out. Ask me how I know I worked on the first ST-8B and all the others to come after that. Then in about 1990 they sold Wagner Mining to Atlas Copco of Sweden.
