H2O - Just add water is about three teenage girls who can transform into mermaids.😮
After a night bath in a lake, everything is different and as soon as Cleo, Emma and Rikki come in contact with water, they transform and get a mermaid tail. After further experimentation, the girls also discover they have supernatural powers over water like boiling or freezing water. They try to keep their secret from everyone else which makes their everyday life anything but simple. 🧜♀️🌊

The ONLY reason Charlotte got all 3 powers is because she went into the moon pool alone. Because the girls went in there together the powers got divided between them. Charlotte was nothing special. She was no "super mermaid". Just power hungry and self absorbed.

Bella only got the Power of opposite of three powers the jelly one because she is the first one to enter that cave or first human to be a mermaid also she was literally young that time if you see the cave it's just a ordinary creek in a present time it's like a volcano in the past it's just a creek beside of the ocean, you can have three powers whether you capable to have it like Evee she has three powers, it Bella's Pov she has Gelikinesis which is Jelly that is not present in Mako Mermaids and H20 S2 it's maybe not connected that much, to all mermaids Bella is the only one that got Jelly Powers. In this episode Charlotte is like Evee that got three special powers, but Evee is kind and cool rather then Charlotte being jealousy and full of hatred.
@@xx_emma_xx4357 but it’s true. the cave gives 3 powers. because cleo, rikki, and emma jumped in at the same time, the power was divided in three. charlotte jumped in and got 3 powers because that’s how it originally is. bella most likely only got 1 power because every cave is different and gives different powers. it’s not like she was at mako. it also may be cause she was young.

Long blurb ahead. Something fun that I noticed is Charlotte's wardrobe along the series. You'll notice that before she became a mermaid, she mostly wore skirts and white shirts. The skirts could be a reminder that she is rather feminine and girly, and the white shirt could mean that, having just been introduced, she is still a white canvas that can become just about anything. Then, as soon as she's become a mermaid, her wardrobe doesn't change drastically but you can definitely notice that it's not the same anymore. She starts interchanging between skirts, both long and short pants, and dresses and most notably you will notice that she has worn every color the other girls have worn - red for Rikki, blue for Emma and pink/purple for Cleo, all up to where she predominantly wore pinks and purples. To me, this just shows that Charlotte didn't really have an identity of her own, she just took bits and pieces from the other girls until she ultimately tried to become and replace Cleo, the person that she despised so much. Then, once she's stripped of her powers and goes to apologize to Lewis, she's wearing a black shirt, the complete opposite of the white shirt she had when she first met him, thus symbolizing that she has grown, learned from her mistakes and changed. Maybe I am looking too much into it but it was actually fun coming down to this theory.
@@TheRecipeGuy I also like the theory that the white shirt at the beginning could symbolize innocence because she indeed was sweet and friendly in the beginning, it was only when she found out about the girls and her grandmother being mermaids that she changed entirely. But I think the black at the end really doesn't symbolize evil because Charlotte had already gone through that phase and by the end of the series, she admitted her mistakes and was content living with the consequences (losing Lewis). What strengthens my belief that the black shirt could have been used to show that she had grown is also this fun fact: black and white are not only complete opposites but also at the very opposite ends of the color spectrum.
I totally agree with you! I've totally noticed the outfit changes throughout. It totally does make sense, Charlotte was so sweet in the beginning and wore white as some sort of a representation to show She's humble and sweet, but at the end I do belive the black shirt symbolizes acceptance and having to deal with her consequences, she was a lost soul.. she desperately wanted to be the best, and I think in the end when she apologizes to Lewis, we can see her true color..

Charlotte in many scenes behaved like a psycho even with how she schemed her way into a relationship with Cleo’s ex, she liked him from the moment she saw him and did little things to attract his attention even before Cleo broke up with him, she finally got him and it still wasn’t enough, her true colors came right out

The moon usually gives humans three powers when they become mermaids, but since cleo, rikki, and emma are all together in the moon pool, the moon split their powers into three, the power to boil water, the power to freeze water, and the power to control water.

The power went straight to Charlotte's head. She didn't have the discipline to be a mermaid and deserved to have her powers taken away.

Charlotte wasn't wrong to be a bit paranoid, though. Lewis WAS hanging out with Cleo a lot and they did still clearly have feelings for one another. It's just Charlotte's bad luck that her character was always meant to be the antagonist in the Cleo-Lewis romance.

Im not siding with Charlotte because she turned really awful and power hungry. But can we all agree that the girls wasnt so nice against her aswell? especially Rikki. She was really awful. If the girls treated me like they treated Charlotte even before she was a mermaid i wouldnt be nice to Chloe, Rikki and Emma either.
I agree 100% as I rewatched I saw that cleo had taken her diary and read it out of jealousy that Charlotte was hanging out W Louis even tho cleo broke up with him and the fact that riki was also just plan awful to her like the way she just death stared her when she found out she had her power and Emma’s power to. The way how the girls pop up through the smoke was amazing and the way how they used there powers together
As a child I hated Charlotte but now that I finished rewatching as an adult, I see her as a victim with a terrible downfall - she was so nice to the girls in the beginning and sure she had a thing for Lewis at first but remember that it was Cleo that dumped Lewis for being too lovey dovey. She just wanted to be a part of the girls but unfortunately they completely disregarded her thus fueling her anger and taste for revenge. She could’ve had a good character redemption but her story lived shortly.

I rewatched the series and honestly... i guess the girls are also guilty for what happened to Charlotte . Just remember Ricky who didn't want accept Charlotte from the very beginning and was quite mean to her. I don't understand why everyone hates Charlotte! At first, it's Cleo and the other two who are mean to her.
Emma and Rikki were indifferent to Charlotte at first. It wasn't until she kept getting into their business that Rikki started to dislike her. After, it was how Charlotte kept pushing and controlling that Rikki really started to hate her, and Lewis's birthday is when Emma began disliking her. Cleo disliked her because of how Charlotte went after him so quickly and then how everyone else seemed to love her. That tends to happen with teenagers.

I really like Charlotte she just wanted to fit in with them, it's just that she take them differently when they've been trying to help and get close to her. She's so powerful she can even do telekinesis without a moon ring. In Mako mermaids you can only do powerful magic like the ones she does if you have a moon ring.

Charlotte shouldn't be seen as a villain, but rather as a victim of mistreatment. The girls rejection and coldness towards her pushed her towards that dark path, not herself. When she was first introduced, she was so kind and generous, and had that warm spirit about her. Her initial interactions with the girls were only her attempting to be friends with them and be accepted. Because remember, she was new and didn't have any friends yet. However, the sad reality was that instead of trying to be her friend and make her feel accepted and welcomed in a new place, especially as a mermaid and accepting her into the group, they just decided to be mean and bully her. It was their dismissive attitudes and refusal to accept her that set the stage for her becoming a villain. And yes she had a crush on Will, but did she try to steal him from Cleo? No. She just had a crush like a normal teenager does! And the whole Cleo reading her diary should've made me see from the start who the real villains were, because wtf was that? Watching it again, all the girl did was breathe and it was a problem🤷🏻♀️ And to add, because I saw someone call her manipulate, answer me this. Was she manipulative before or after Cleo read her diary and became a jealous as-hell ex-girlfriend every chance she got? That's what I thought. They didn't get Charlotte as an enemy, they MADE her their enemy.

@@roxytirnanog1003 Unlike Charlotte, she kept using her powers in public. She was levitating Cleo, Emma and Rikki in MID AIR and Ash almost saw her. At least the 3 girls use their powers for the real good. Unlike Charlotte, who only uses them for strength and power against Rikki, Emma and Cleo.
@@roxytirnanog1003Well, Kim does deserve it most of the time. As for Emma and Rikki, they actually don't usually use their powers on family. The only time Emma does is when her brother was hogging the shower. With other people, they don't use their powers to actually harm anyone, unless under the influence of the full moon and even then it's not their intent.

I like how Charlotte seen a video of her grandmother as teenager & Charlotte even saw her grandmother as a mermaid & max tells Charlotte that her grand a mermaid & she gets all three of the girls powers & emma rikki & cleo tried to tell Charlotte not to look at the full moon & Charlotte uses her powers against the girls & Charlotte used her powers 2 get cleo emma & rikki to the moon pool & cause the girls to lose their powers & the girls work together to combine their powers & the girls drop Charlotte in the moon pool & Charlotte is stripped of her powers & her mermaid tail for good in h20 just add water season 2 finale
Best character and mermaid. I love Charlotte. Too bad a lot of H2O viewers are kids who never notice the mistakes of the protagonists and blame it all on poor Charlotte.

Yea when I rewatched it I remember when cleo took her diary and read it. Like personally I think that’s one of the reason she hated cleo so much which is also prob why she tried to take Louis from her as well as the rest of the girls considering they didn’t tell her off. I’m not in anyway defending what she did bc what she did was cruel and horrible but I’m just saying I understand where she is coming from and how she must feel regarding them girls.
