  • As an INFJ I definitely relate to her when she was talking about her "lame rebellious phase". I've never been interested in partying, drinking, etc. and as a 21 year old, none of my friends understand that. They accuse me of being boring and lame but I genuinely have NO interest in any of that and staying home watching movies is much more interesting. It's nice knowing that I'm not the only one and that there's more to it lmao

    • We're often called the most extroverted introverts. I totally relate. A lot of people who've known me years are surprised when I say I'm an introvert because I can be really dynamic and charismatic. But the key is that I love being alone, I spend most time alone. My social battery is minimal. I've been known to just leave parties or nights out, I usually just tell one person I'm going and escape to avoid being pressured into staying

I’m probably fine in work related conversations but I always worry about being seen as less intelligent than the group or on dates. Zendaya is so confident and self assured, it helps me be more open and honest about who I truly am. I have social anxiety and I really feel embarrassed by how much of an introvert and homebody I am. My mom said that when I was a toddler, she would put me in the shopping cart and I’d sit there and say hi to everyone in the store. Every individual person. But then when I was 9 my friends told me I was really annoying so I became really shy and ever since then have been introverted.

My brain just doesn’t work like that but I try my best. If I have the opportunity to write my thoughts out before something like a presentation or a meeting I will because that helps, but sadly I can’t prepare for everyday conversation like that 😂 I like the way you frame functions as “superpowers” though, it helps me to remember to look at these tendencies in a more positive light. And seeing the way Zendaya speaks, how that’s just the way she talks, that also makes me think that maybe I don’t appear as much of a mess as I think I do haha

    • @@robbiegorey5312 dumb if it is like that, although the whole "perfect couple" is dumb so i wouldn't be surprised. An INFJ with ENFP? INFJ should develop their Ti with ENTP, not Fi and Te with ENFP, it is better to develop functions that you have but not fully developed, rather then functions that you lack, but somehow develop it. But i doubt this was created by someone that knows of the functions, they must have been like, their core E "NF" P should be the same, while their behaviour "E" NF "P" should be different for both types existing, and a good balanced couple. But that is not how it works.

      @serulu3490@serulu34902 жыл бұрын
    • @@serulu3490 The idea is completely based on shadow functions. INFJ is Ni Fe Ti Se, and ENFP is Ne Fi Te Si; they're the same type of function but introverted/extroverted is swapped. Dating someone who uses your shadow functions is, according to the theory, the person that "completes" you. Don't live your life by this theory but that's just the logic behind it.

    • @@illsam That’s the thing though. Because Zendaya is a public figure she has to be somewhat extroverted but like he was saying, it’s more so coming from her extroverted sensing and feeling. She’s like a social chameleon, she’s adapting to people’s vibes and the situation which is like an INFJ’s strongest trait. INFJs are also very capable of being the most extroverted introverts and so can appear to many who only know them superficially as extroverts. It’s actually when you get to know INFJs better where it becomes more apparent that they truly are introverted by nature. And she probably wasn’t always an INFJ but developed into that personality type as she got older which is the case for many, myself included. I am also an INFJ and I heard so many things I think through/about myself that she said, and even I would answer the same way some questions she answered. Like with the nature, to stay alone, to sort people and not to let them too close, that heating up anxiety and thinking 24/7 before making a step forward and if not thinking then regretting about how everything turns into a mess and chaos. Also, it’s a fun thing, but I am a Virgo (august 26) as well and just 1yo younger than she is, and maybe idk it also counts to some extent... anyways it was nice food for the brains, thank you!

  • May I also add the thematic thinking is reflected on her red carpet styles! I know she has a stylist but they usually share ideas so. eg.1, 2019 Met Gala, she dressed as Cinderella which was fitting the campy theme very well, I saw it as a spin on her Disney days, aka being a real-life Disney princess. eg.2 Dune's premier in Cannes or somewhere, her dress is the color of the sand, which represents her character, aka a Fremen living in the desert. She's not just dressing to look pretty, but actively echoes the themes of her work. I thought it was pretty cool

  • I am an ENFJ and can relate to her so much. I am a little bit more extroverted than introverted, but it's almost balanced. I chose to be a teacher and surrounded by people all day, that at the end I choose me-time or time with limited people in my free time to gain energy again. So I have pretty much the same opinion as Zendaya. For me she could be ENFJ too, because she is outgoing. We both are with lots of people together and. chose to work with people and enjoy being alone after work.
