I would love to know your opinion on pet insurance what is rated best to worst
Quick question. I live in a high rise, but I do have a balcony and I'm across the street from a trail. If I buy the grass patch for my young puppy, should I just stick to that? Or is it ok I alternate between outside and balcony?
My fiance and I are thinking about getting a puppy but we are not sure if we will have enough time to take care of it. So we evaluate our options. Great video
They are a lot of work, but sooo cute :)
I would recommend fostering or dog sitting first to see if you have time!
Me and my family are deciding between a golden retriever and beagle and we live in an apartment, I’m happy with both but I kinda want a golden more🙈
Beagles are vocal which might be a lot for an apartment! I’d go with Golden
@@LisaGallegos , yep all of us would want a golden retriever but we want our golden retriever to have a nice spacious place, is our pet friendly apartment ok for that? I’ve done research and all articles say it’s fine as long as they get good exercise. ( also tysm for the advice and opinion I’m gonna sub :) )
Hi Lisa, a quick question about sniff and walks and socialization for apartment pups. What is the best way to manage this when they're still undergoing their inital vaccine series?
I would try to find clean/safe spaces to walk. You want to keep ‘em safe but also at the same time socialization is super important. Here’s more info: avsab.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Puppy_Socialization_Position_Statement_Download_-_10-3-14.pdf
@@LisaGallegos Thank you so much, really appreciate the reply :)

Helpful! My family is on the path of considering getting a dog for the first time.
how long can you leave a golden retriever alone? I have no trouble exercising it and taking it for long walks or runs. But since I'm sometimes away from home 6-10 hours (rarely) I was wondering how this would affect the dog before I decide to get one.
He will be fine as long as you take him out before leaving so he can pee and poop, and remember to leave him with enough things to keep him occupied so he doesnt get bored. For example, get him a Kong ( big chewy toys that you can fill with dog food, there s a little hole in it and it will keep your dog occupied for hours trying to get the food. It keeps him mentally busy which is the most important), you can also leave an old t shirt of yours... but the most important thing is leaving him with things to keep his mind busy :)
I adopted a golden for a apartment And let me tell u , we are having a great time
Yay! Thx for sharing 🐶
