  • I remember playing a pickup game at the shoemaker center in Cincinnati back in 1999 and some dude from Xavier was making fun of Martins speech impediment, All I can remember from there was Martin going off!! Grabbing every rebound, blocking shots out of the gym and dunking on anyone who got in his way! Dude has freakish strength and will catch you with an elbow if you attempt to jump with him!! PURE BEAST!!

    • Never was a nets fan but kidd and martin were always two of my favorite players. Martin was undersized but an excellent defender but played with so much intensity. I watched him in Cincinnati too. I was happy he was a Knick for a few even though it was later in his career.

    • You can tell he is really strong and powerful. Funny because he is so lanky and wirey. I am surprised Martin didn't run down punches on that dude from Xavier.

    • I always thought he had a speech impediment, because I do also and a stutterer knows a stutterer he's good tho hes way better now myself also but some people are heartless lol. I played football and folks don't understand when your heart is racing and your intense it can make you stutter worse.

  • One thing Ik nobody looks at tho, is the 90s era for the most part actually averaged more points than the 2000s from like 2000-2009. But people will swear 90s and 80s players was booty. I’m js.

    • The nets didn't offer him a contract after his rookie contract. And it wasn't up to him. Cos you're a restricted free agent after your rookie deal. You cant choose a team. The nets moved him to the nuggets as part of a sign and trade deal.
