  • The best part of the game by far was from 12:11 - 12:45 It was perfect. I loved Seeing how hyped kelce and mahomes were, being 2 of the nfls best players & the leagues "golden boys," as they pumped out the loudest crowd in the NFL...on a CRUCIAL 4TH DOWN, then watching rivers throw a ballsy, hair raising, yet perfect pass to benjamin to silence the crowd...wow. rivers had ice in his veins, he just had alot of bad football luck and was a little to sporatic and careless with the ball at the end of the game sometimes.

After 2009, The Spanos refused to rebuild the OL and Phil's never got a real chance. Chargers had one of the worst OLs of the league for a decade. 2013, the exception. I bought them in the offseason because they were going to induct Tony Gonzalez into the ring of honor. Nobody knew Mahomes was going to be as great as he was this season. Also Chris Jones got a sack for the 10th consecutive game which tied an NFL record. He ended up getting one the following week as well which broke the record.

  • This is my favorite Chargers game I’ve ever watched. I was born in 99 and became a fan when I was about 8 or 9. This game happened on the day me and my best friend were flying home from college for Christmas break. Since it was a Thursday night game, the airport had the game on every TV. When we got on the plane it was 28-14 in the 4th quarter and we assumed we would lose. Once we landed we immediately checked the score and saw it was 28-29 and realized not only had we won but we went for 2. We both started freaking out. As soon as I got home I watched the highlights over and over again. It was a great way to start the break. Funny thing is I’ve been to about 7 games in person (some of them were amazing over time games). I’ve even met Herb and Ek and other players at training camp. But still this game is for some reason the most special Chargers memory I have. Kinda sad 😂 but that’s life as a Chargers fan.

    • @@TheMTBFamILY_ bruh the chiefs been doing that for the past 5 years.. joe burrow went to the bowl with no o line bruh. We need to stop making excuses for Herbert . Dudes been in the league a while now with all the talent in the world and has done absolutely nothing. W/L can be a team thing but not for quarterbacks cuz you know damn well if they were winning that’s all people would talk about. Now stfu with 2022-23 super bowl. Every thing you said in your comment is delusional as fuck

  • I do not need to relive this, even though I’m watching it. Patrick Mahomes in nfl throwback, he’s getting old.

  • Philip Rivers was always one hell of a competitor never out of a game with him as your qb chargers always seem to find these kinda great qbs, Dan fouts, philip, drew Brees and now Herbert

  • Robert here, Rivers never lost to Manning & Giants. Spanos and front office took away Lorenzo Neil FB blocking for LT, then got hurt. PHILIP RIVERS is a warrior, 14 -2 Coach fired. This video is typical Rivers comebacks. My favorite.

  • Well the pass interference rules are so murky and change all the time but I think the reason they called it is because the defender was making contact while not turning their head to play the ball, clearly seen at 16:55 the defender is making contact while completely facing away from the pass and it's past 5 yards from the line of scrimmage (the endzone is 10 yards deep play started at the 1 yard line). But who knows, it always feels like refs choice. Yes you can make contact for the first 5 yards then after if the defender is "playing the ball" which requires the ball to be in the air and defender to be looking in the QB/balls direction.
