    • I'm not saying that what she did isn't impressive, because it is only that the skills are still commonly passed on from parents in rural areas to both sexes... She either doesn't have a choice because of being poor, or she had a lot of time to do it while living in the village with her family. But I don't think she did it out of need because she had the land to do it on. I'm not saying that what she did isn't admirable, I don't have the skill, but you do realize that the filming was done over a long period of time and then speeded up? Even farmers who are used to hard work in the sun cannot work all day but must seek shelter from the sun and have a siesta. She could have made it over several dry seasons! I sometimes see huts and shelters for farm workers to shelter during the hottest part of the day, and as a "holiday cottage".

    • @@1414141x Chris, sadly by the comments? They do ?? I have been in construction for 50 years. Using Pythagorus's theory, the volume of that hole is about 280 to 300 cubic feet compacted. That's a bloody lot for one small lady to dig all on her own (a large truck load) and she is still brand spanking clean with no dirt on her top or in her hair when she climbs out at 1 min.46. Notice no truck load of spoil, maybe 5 or 6 barrow loads with lots and lots of footprints and tracks. A lot of dirty muddy workers out of sight away from the camera I would imagine. Che is very clever, an excellent tradesperson and very competent and running a good team. 😃👍 Good luck to her, judging by the views she would be making a handsome income

    • @@woofersagainstviolence5349 How do you calculate the volume of a cylinder using Pythagoras’s theorem? I always use pi to do it.

      @thechumpsbeendumped.7797@thechumpsbeendumped.7797 Жыл бұрын
    • @@thechumpsbeendumped.7797 Hey Chumpster, same same. With Pi. So old Pythe's theory is "the square on the hypotenuse is equal to, the sum of the squares of the other 2 sides. Typically, 3sqd + 4sqd =5sqd. IE 3x3=9 + 4x4=16 which equals 5x5 is 25. That is a right angled triangle, that you can use on the 1st corner of your house set out all the other walls, alcoves and boundary setbacks. You can use that principle to work out the height of your cylinder and many other probs. π = 22/7 or 3.1416 for ease of calcs. So the Volume of a cylinder is V=Bh which is the area of the Base X by the height. So in the case of this ladies well, which we will assume is say 6 Feet across. The area = the radius sqd x by Pi which is 3x3x 3.1416 which equals 28.2744 sq ft. Now at the 1min02sec on her video when she puts the 7 rung ladder in the hole 2 spaces and 2 rungs are poking out. Guessing the rungs look about 2 ft apart that means there are 5 rungs and the 2 one ft legs. So we have a hole approx 9 feet deep by 28.2744 which in turn equals 254 cubic feet. So I apologise for my premature 280 to 300 cubic ft compacted soil. However at 1 min 44sec when she hits water, the full ladder is in the hole so it must be 12 or 13 ft deep which would equal about 360 cubic ft. Divide that by 27 to get cubic yards and you get 13.3 multiplied by the bulking factor of 1.25 and you have approx 16.5 cubic yards of excavated soil. That is 2 almost full tip trucks of material to take away??? Where has all that soil gone to Chumster? I think that lil Lady has a lot of helpers, judging by all the footprints. Have a good one Cuz. 👍

    • @@woofersagainstviolence5349 I don’t know why you wrote all that waffle? In short, you can’t use Pythagoras‘s theorem to calculate the volume of a cylinder, yes or no? That’s all I asked and I didn’t need a 5th-grade mathematics class. FYI I’ve been using his theorem to square things since I was a kid over 50 years ago when I used to help my father lay out building foundations. As for the rest of your pointless and imo inaccurate diatribe. You state you think the rungs are 2 feet apart, that would make her significantly taller than 6ft coz she is just over 3 rungs in height. I know a lot of east asians and they're rarely much over 5 ft 4in in height. I’m estimating the true height of each rung is 16 inches plus the thickness of the bamboo so let’s call it 18 inches. Check out when she’s climbing the ladder and her knee is level with the next rung up to confirm this? Also when she climbs out there are only 6 rungs in the hole plus the legs that have sunk into the mud so I’m estimating the depth to be nearer 8.5-9ft when the slope of the ladder is accounted for but I’ll round up to 10ft to be generous to you. The width of the hole is roughly triple the width of the ladder as can be seen when she climbs out at 1:48. The ladder's width appears to be roughly the same as the distance between rungs so let’s call it 18 inches for the sake of argument. 3x18=54in plus 4 inches to account for the bamboo = 58 inches or 4ft10in (4.83ft /2= 2.41) Area of the base would be approx 2.41 x 2.41x 3.141= 18.23 ft.² base x height or 10x1.23 = 182ft.³ (6.75yd.³ compacted or 8.44 loose) or half of your rather inflated guesstimates. As for disposal of dirt or the number of footprints, they are both irrelevant because; 1. I couldn’t care less about what she did with the dirt. For all I care she and/or her construction team, if they exist could dig another hole and bury it. 😉 2. The number of footprints there are would be broadly similar if there were 1person or 10 people digging. Try thinking about it? If you don’t know why the number of footprints is irrelevant drop me a reply and I’ll explain it to you. FYI The chump being referred to in my channel's name is not me but as your observation skills appear to be lacking it's no surprise to me that you thought it did. See if you can work out who it references?

Like, mortar, or, quick crete with polymers to servre as a durable waterproof type of stucco or icing on the cake. For a wall! Any kind of wall!, clay brick, or homemade mud, sun baked, or, whatever life throws your way!, like they have to work with, in their indigenous part of the world... I see these folks's as genius! • The water that seeps through the soil has a much lower parasite load - almost pure if there are no heavy metal contaminants in the soil. Will be muddy until it settles well, then will be pretty clear. Our ancestors around the world did the same, but of course they had no man-made contaminates such as Dioxin or Glyphosphates. Did you see how clear the water was when she got some to boil her snails? Amazing, ain't it? And for some reason, it reminds me much of the Philippines, where I was lucky enough to spend a few years of my childhood. Someplace in SE Asia, more than likely. Especially with those water buffalo, or carabaos in the field.
