How do you evolve galarian slowpoke into galarian slowking and is Calyrex related to zazian and zmazenta and of course where can you find Regigigas

  • i think that there is a more subtle Regigigas protection in Galar and that is the Split-Decision Ruins cause note that Regigigas *only* wakes up when all 5 are together yet the Split-Decision Ruins only allows for 1 of the 2 Regi's to wake up meaning the 5 can never come together by normal methods, and Regigigas can never be awoken

    • The thing is.... Regigigas isnt sealed in a temple. It is found in this Dynamax den, which is strange, to say the least. Unless... its improved protection. Maybe to hide the powerful King of the Regi's, there wasnt a specific temple made to seal away Regigigas, since big fancy temple's scream I HAVE INTERESTING, POWERFUL SECRETS INSIDE COME INVESTIGATE ME!!! Maybe they put it there so no one could find him, adding a further layer of protection

      @lunarwings4481@lunarwings44813 жыл бұрын
    • @@lunarwings4481 It could go into the theory of the Raid Dens sort of acting as the Otherworld laid out in Celtic myth. Regigigas slipped into the area but thanks to someone or something, perhaps the Draconids or Zacian and Zamazenta or Urshifu or perhaps Calyrex, managed to deactivate it in an area separate to where the Max Raid Adventures would take place. Alternatively and more simply, there was once a temple there and during the Darkest Day it became a Power Spot and the temple with Regigigas in it collapsed into a Raid Den. However the fact Regigigas has appeared outside of Snowpoint Temple raises two VERY disconcerting outcomes. Either a) it got out of Snowpoint Temple and either found its way to Hoenn or Galar (which one could hypothesize that Dynamax Energy is why the lvl 1 Regigigas of Snowpoint is lvl 100 in the Crown Tundra). Or b) there exist multiple Regigigas and they all had to be sealed separately.

      @lunarcat4278@lunarcat42783 жыл бұрын
    • @@lunarcat4278 All good thoughts! As far as scenario A, it could be that the gathering of all 5 Regi's is what makes it leave Snowpoint Temple. The ultra beasts appear in raid dens unnaturally so they didnt have to start there to be found there later. It'd be interesting to think that collecting the three Regis in Hoenn all those years ago didnt realize phase Regigigas, because it either wasnt a problem, or didnt give it enough power to wake up on its own, but adding in these two previously undiscovered Regis was the tipping point.

      @Jaxsin7@Jaxsin73 жыл бұрын
    • @@Jaxsin7 while I could believe it we do have two other examples from both the original and Mega timelines that'd seem to disprove that. Regigigas has appeared, in another set of ruins, in B2W2 when you collect the original 3 Regis and in ORAS in the Island Chamber Regigigas will ambush you when you have the original 3 (and also do the Regice things, a test of friendship perhaps?). And it is worth noting that it is an ambush in ORAS and not "a la Hoopa ring" like the a lot of the other Legendaries in the games. That personally lends credence that more than one instance of Regigigas had been created. Certainly more than one instance of the other Regis

  • We really need a part two, because like, why would they seal away the Titans in the first place? And on top of that, why can the original trio be found in so many locations when Eleki and Drago can only be found in Galar. Theres a much larger mystery here.

    • I'm a little late on this. I like to believe regirock steel and ice represents the physical body /strength of Regigigas. Where as regieleki and drago representative gigas's energy. That's why when you gather all three regie's in the past. Regigigas didn't have the energy therefore his ability slow start.

    • In Greek mythology the Titans were the ancestors of the gods (think Zeus et al) and has insane power over the foundations of the earth. Zues lead a group of the Olympic gods to seal away the Titans because of how powerful and violent and unstable they were, in favor of reforming the world for themselves and humanity. The place where the Titans were sealed away is called Tartarus, and it is deep below even the underworld. However based on the robotic nature of the Regis, I personally think they are designed after Golems, which are a tool created and used by traditional alchemists and sorcerers to guard their secrets and basically be their muscle who will not betray them or succumb to fatigue. They were usually made of stone seemingly but the nature of alchemy made almost any material possible to make into a golem, and they had very few if any weakness.

      @morgan4574@morgan45742 жыл бұрын
    • @@morgan4574 They are actually based of Hindu/Jewish golems (same thing as the Greece really; same area more or less) but the dots on their faces(?) are supposed to be like seals to bind the life force inside, removing the sigil makes the golem inert.

      @domc9801@domc98012 жыл бұрын
    • @@domc9801 an additional fun fact that I got off of Wikipedia is that the reason that golems are so easily killed in this manner is that the word for golem is only the removal of a letter away from the word for death (in the Jewish language). So, by a well placed removal, you would turn its literal meaning into being dead.

  • So regigiggas is supposed to be a giant Titanic beast that was feared and therefore locked away, yet its Slow Start ability is very hindering and essentially makes it useless. As you mentioned, it's level 1 when you find it in Snowpoint Temple in D/P/Plt, implying that it has been weakened through its multi generational slumber. I feel like it was weakened a lot more than it seems, and that Slow Start is evidence towards that theory. I feel we're not seeing the _true_ Regigiggas here, and that maybe once it gains all of its power, it will become much stronger than it currently is.

They do have a lot of traits similar to Claydol and the golett line, more than they do to other rock creatures like geodude and roggenrola. And the fact that nosepass are prey of the metang line makes sense. They do feed on the type of stone and ore nosepass were created from. And being 'alive', so rich in infinity energy, yeah they are gonna be the favourite food.

Whoever sealed the Regis also settled in the Sevii Islands because the written Braille can also be found in the Dotted Hole and Mt. Ember. • Maybe the Regigigas in the Galar region was locked away too because the only way to battle and catch it is getting all six Regis. Then going to its max den, but what's interesting the one in Galar is lv 100, unlike the lv 1 Regigigas.

  • What if... Regigigas used his Primal powers that he had at the beginning of the Pokémon World, to create the Regi-trio. He never recovered, he is stuck in a permanent state of being tired, hence why being kept in a Pokéball in a state of sleep results in him having to go through Slow Start again. Primal and Mega Evolution energy are probably both Infinity Energy. I would love to see Regigigas reenergized with his moss on his feet and back gone. I want to know more about Regigigas. Maybe Regidrago seeming incomplete is beacause Regigigas was expended the last of his Primal Energy and ended up leaving Regidrago unfinished. Fascinating video, Toby. I want to know more. I also thought anout how Regidrago may be crystalized energy left over from the separation of Unovan Great Dragon. Kyurem, Reshiram, and Zekrom. What if the separation caused an explosion of aura, or draconic power that crystalized. Then Regigigas used it to create Regidrago, but he didn't have enough. But it may be the missing link to recreating the original dragon.
