I love Trixie cracking all her usual jokes and Larry just deadpan across the table next question 😂
Honestly loved that
He chuckled at some of her zingers.
@@davidadams2395and when he caught a few, his laugh was totally genuine loll 😌 He didn't catch "It's glitter. It's a gay thing. It just shoots right out of our eyes, but I'd purchase that merch with a logo of her iconic eye look. 🤌🏿
bahahhaha!!!
Omg I'm dying laughing 😂
Larry: You have a theory about death? Trixie: I think it happens to most of us.
Larry IS dead btw, he died in 2021 and these videos act like he's alive and well
@@baileescott401they’re just uploading archival interviews - do you want them to put flashing red letters saying THIS MAN IS DEAD in every video? 😭
@@baileescott401lol the videos aren’t acting like he’s anything they are just uploads of his videos. He only died quite a short time ago
@@zenobianone lmaoooo right?
@@zenobianoneomg he's dead? I didn't even know he was sick....
I love that he called her "honey" more than once... sweet grandfather vibes... rest in peace
So sweet. Like a grandfather talking to his favorite grandchild at Thanksgiving ❤
Did he die?! 😮 Man I'm way behind on the breaking news
@@CrystalCat24 He did. I just googles it. 2021.
@@CrystalCat24 He died in 2021
Wait he's dead!!!
The amount of humor trixie was giving that went unnoticed by an unbothered Larry King had me cracking up... 🤣
Oh he noticed, he's just too professional to react. Truly a legendary journalist.
Do YOU like corn?
he's so boring, he needs to retire
He noticed. I liked how he said “welcome to the show, HONEY!”
And I think that was the funniest part for her. She loved how unbothered he was. lol
I love that Larry called the glitter in Trixie's makeup "starlights"...it sounds so dreamy and almost romantic
That was a precious moment.
Good name for a makeup brand
I love that even though Larry didn't seem to understand Tixie he still treated her with respect and tried to understand the culture ❤
Yes! If only everyone could be as mature, respectful, curious and kind, the world would be a much nicer place😢❤❤
Larry King was honestly the one of the best interviewers. He was always willing to set his own beliefs aside when listening to his guests, but also question them in a very free-form manner with his own beliefs spiced in.
He’s comin off rude af, what are y’all talkin about? 🤨🧐
@@thomasinajefferson9971where exactly? Seriously jw.
Larry King old enough to remember young Boy George in 80's. And young RuPaul in 90's. But he is still trying to understand ...
An honest interview with a natural biological woman is everything I needed to watch on this warm Saturday morning.
It's Tuesday. And Tracey is the ONLY woman. Please edit your comment.
Don't forget her BFA in Small Engine Repairs. That is a woman of Science!
How incredibly disrespectful you are. SHE A HIM! she isn’t a actually real and true and honest and sincere and genuine woman.
@@alanalovell1612 yes she is. A naturally blond, full head of hair biological woman ❤
@@brit331 no him arent. Him not a her, him a he.
“You calling something fake is a riot” Not Larry opening with a read 😂
😂
When she asks him "do you like corn?" I laughed out loud so hard
“On the cob?” 💀💀🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽
Trixie seems great at figuring out what's going to make the other person laugh. You can see it switching up throughout the interview lolol
The deadpan made me think of this Entertainment Tonight (?) Video where Trixie and Katya interview each other, but they edit out all the laughter and added in weird camera angles and stuff to make it oh-so delightfully mental.
Country girls make do
Lol, Trixie saying she’s serving conservative to a 90 year old man while wearing three layers of Neapolitan foundation in a sparkly outfit. Larry grinning made me laugh.
Neapolitan foundation hahaha 😆
this brian on brian crime right now is brutal
Trixie explaining unapologetically, how tucking works to Larry is my favorite thing ever 😂
Trixie describing her out of drag as "...Patrick Stewart as a farmer" got Larry giggling! Trixie is so precious. :)
i loved the respect Larry showed Trixie, he didnt treat the interview as a joke and didnt treat Trixie like a sideshow freak. Larry showed Trixie respect and compassion and it showed what kinda man Larry was
He was rude af, stop.
@@thomasinajefferson9971no he wasn’t he gave her all the props he asked a lot deep questions if that’s rude then I must be a total cunt 😂
He was the same with every guest
Was this an attempt at a joke?
@@thomasinajefferson9971 he was as respectful and understanding as a dinosaur like him could be. It's an example for people of his generation. Try to empathize more
I remember Trixie saying how impressed she was that Larry had really done his homework, and that he didn't even need a teleprompter or cue cards :) Now that's a journalist, honey!
He was reading from a script the whole time?
No literally, I’m allowed to have max like a half page of notes, and we journalists typically rehearse the questions a lot beforehand or have a good ability to improve !!
@@SallySkellington94 I’m just confused by the comment and by trixies comment because he was genuinely reading from a script the whole time.
@@SallySkellington94Yeah and doing research and making your own cards and script to read off isn't cheating/lazy because having the script and cards to read off helps the show feel more organized and professional and takes less work from him to memorize everything he researched that could lead to mistakes.
He was a professional
This is how two grown and empathetic human beings interact. Drag queens are entertaining and if everyone would just relax, we could all laugh and have fun
some peoples lids would flip if they went to like 90% of Spain🤣
Why do people think Larry is being rude??😂 this is like a conversation with my Grandma; just two different generations making each other laugh
Legit it’s the age gap I think it makes it better it’s funny 😂
probably cause he doesnt laugh at most jokes. still doesnt make him rude. just confused lol
It’s about time they released the whole interview!! Omg when he said ok honey and she just wanted to laugh. Larry was so cute and sweet to her.
Yes I cackled every time he called her huuunnyyy
When Larry said "those little starlights under your eyes" and Trixie said "oh, you like that? That's glitter, it's a gay thing" 😂❤
Trixie : "in 10 years, I will have enough money to buy a cabin in Wisconsin". Also Trixie "Welcome to the Trixie Motel in Palm Springs" :)
😂😂😂 I was thinking the same!
Trixie’s face was just so sweet looking at Larry King. I got a huge kick out of the interview ❤ very endearing interview from both of them.
Yes, it really was! I respect them both so much. Trixie just keeps expanding her empire. Success after success. She works hard and we benefit. Plus I can listen to her on youtube for days on end when I'm in a crafting frenzy.
I love when trixie finally gets a laugh out of Larry and she laughs at it
23:01 the way trixie got teleported to mars after being called honey😂
T“I feel male. Do I look male now?” L”No.” 😂😂😂
Lol so hilarious. Larry read her without knowing it.
Larry is just a class act. He's the America the rest of the world wishes America was.
As a British dude I agree 😂
He was one of the best.
That’s pretty much it, yeah
I’m glad they didn’t elaborate on Ru’s run-in with Milton Berle (or if they did it wasn’t aired.) That incident was just unfortunate.
i love that hes like a patient grandpa who doesn't really know what the hell you are doing but he's trying to be supportive
The way Trixie fangirled when Larry said he knew June Carter Cash😭
The beginning feels like Larry doesn't know an inch of Trixie, and later they had great chemistry. Thank you Larry.
“It’s glitter, it’s a gay thing” 😂😂😂
I died! Hahaha 😂
Dude imagine if republicans were to treat Drag Queens like Larry did to Trixie?
respecting people that are different from them?? psh, what a crazy concept.
@@doublefeature i respect because your different than I am you are a woman (I assume by your picture) and i am a man. Someone can be ugly and i can respect and live peace with that. Honestly it's not that hard.
Republicans wouldn't exist?
Way to just generalise people, jeesh.
@@DeathLord-xy9fv It’s ok to generalize when it’s accurate.
when trixie said: so sort of like, if adam sandler was dressed as uhh.. my little pony" and larry laughed, you can see how happy trixie was to make him laugh. so cute :)
The way Trixie volleyed all these questions meant for the straights is amazing
"Thank you, Honey." Wow. He really gets her. She is like honey. Sweet, nourishing, natural, high-vibe. That was very sweet and astute of him to call her that. ♥ Loves it ♥
I wonder if that's what he called June :)
When Trixie is dressed up she is a girl 😌😁
Even being a professional, a man in his age accepting and showing kindness and respect for a spectacle as Trixie is really heartwarming. Also, forgot about his passing, and was super confused about the out of date topics.
You talking about Lurry King, right? Who seen punks, hippies and Boy George loooooong before Trixie
Ohhhhh thanks, I was super confused lol
He died?..... I didn't even know he was sick
@@ghostrider2664 he was 87, and had Covid earlier that year.
Trixie does such a great job "walking the line" for my tastes. Solid advocate, a bit sassy and campy, but never over the top or off putting
"do I look male?" "No!" I'm dying😂 love both of them!
I'm just a regular old lesbian and I almost cried hearing Larry talk about all of Trixie's accomplishments and accolades. 💗⭐💗⭐
I loved how Trixie understood and was respectful towards Larry's vibe and Larry professionally asked her his questions
5:28 might be my favorite part. When Larry asks about jealousy between “dragsters” and Trixie asks him if he remembers Showgirls and the pearls. You know damn well Larry had no idea this was a movie reference and was thinking of a Vegas show girl
I love that these two people from different worlds had a wonderful conversation! I especially love that Trixie got Larry to laugh/chuckle! I feel like he actually really enjoyed talking to Trixie. Plus, now he’s educated on tucking so there we go
What different worlds are you talking about?! Like Larry was uneducateted resp, living in a cave last 50 years and not in entertainment business.
@@user-et7nc4bn9d Trixie in the drag world and Larry in the television/radio world where he wasnt well versed in the community. Ummm he definitely wasn’t living in a cave but he had no clue what drag culture is like or about.
the way he called the little whites under her eyes starlights❤❤❤
Larry was one of a kind. THIS is how you do an interview. ❤
I was also glad that Trixie got to explain the difference between drag and transgender.
I honestly didn't get that impression from Larry's interview with her. Possibly the one thing that stood out was when he asked Trixie if she had ever considered being transgender. He asked it matter of factly and Trixie answered it matter of factly and they moved on I found it refreshingly honest. Trixie clearly felt extremely comfortable the entire time.
I miss Larry, he was a great interviewer and his opinions were honest, something that you can't say of most of his colleagues.
I reckon Larry enjoyed that interview far more than he was expecting.
My dad is a 61 year old straight man and loves Trixie.
LARRY QUEEN 😂😂😂
That first two minutes already had me, when Larry said "you calling something fake is a riot," and trixie's bird laugh as a response
Trixie's Genuine laughing at some of the things Larry said, gave me life. This is clearly from a few years ago, based on what they mentioned as her accomplishments / the makeup itself but this was a Great interview & I'm glad it randomly popped up as a recommendation. Surprised I've never seen any clips of it prior :)
I also loved how Larry laughed quite a few times too. 🥲 idk why this interview made me emotional. Larry is so special and sharp as heck.
Both were tickled pink!
Yeah the accomlishments, the makeup and the fact that Larry King is very much alvie in this interview.
Trixie gives such good interviews she is so in control redirecting attention and winning you over and her makeup is so flawlessly applied here. Love her so much.
Trixie asking Larry if he likes corn is iconic tbh she’s was like “do you like money?”
My favorite part about this is Larry’s lil laughs 🤭 he was a lil tickled by trixie
“Somebody who talks” is the most relatable answer I’ve ever heard from Trixie.
Trixie is the Rupaul of her generation! Breaking boundaries and amassing huge success!
'welcome to the show honey'' to me is just so lovely
Trixie's absolutely massive smile at the beginning reveals just how surreal this moment must be. Good to see!!
"do you have a theory about death?" "I think it happens to most of us" ... Icon
Larry did such a great job with this interview. You don't need to completely understand someone to show them respect.
Larry fascinated with the white “tear ducts” made me laugh But I swear to god were her eyeliner triangles always this big?! I feel like they’re 3 times the size that they used to be for some reason
This is an older interview, so her beat has evolved since then. But yeah, she's still pretty wild with the eyes. I swear the more you stare at Trixie, the more normal it gets lol.
it's been one of the phases of her makeup a while ago, "eyeliner" is much smaller now. Her make up kinda has the same basic components but their size and angles change every once in a while.
I realllllllly enjoyed this. Trixie is so freaking charming and Larry is very engaged.
10:47 “It’s glitter. It’s a gay thing. It just comes right out of our eyes.” 😂
Such a good interview… RIP Larry… Thanks for being a pro, having a sense of humor, AND treating Trixie with respect! Happy Pride, to ALL!
Honestly, this interview has changed my opinion of Larry King to something more positive than it was before. I thought he was professional, didn't ask overtly homophobic or embarrassing questions, and maintained a good sense of humour throughout - even cracking a couple of jokes. Trixie was great as usual. Entertaining and well done. Thank you for posting this.
10:48 LMFAO I love it haha Trixie is great, “ it comes right outta our eyes.”
“You calling something fake is a riot” LMAO LARRY IS READINGGH
I love this guy "larry king" im so glad Tracy still collaborates with small creators
Omg him calling her “honey” in the beginning was so cute ❤
This entire interview is so adorable. The way Larry talks to trixie is literally so sweet, and trixie is giving my little pony realness as always.
Trixie making him go "hah" is just the purest thing.
I love how much fun she’s having with him. Just grinning looking at his reactions. What a great dynamic! RIP Larry
He seems so sweet in this interview. And it's nice to see Trixie reacts to him in a loving manner

This is a duo I truly never expected.
I have never watched RuPaul's Drag Race and I love Trixie.
"Do I look male?" "No." That cracked me up so good. The delivery was so good on both sides.
This came on in my headphones and I just thought it was the trixie and katya podcast, and katya was doing one of her voices

Literally... HOWLING at all her answers during the fast question rounds. Best part of entire internet!! like
I absolutely love this. Larry has a straight forward interview style (and also probably a time limit) he's very calm and gets right to the point. Trixie is such a loud, colorful, humorous and confident person that loves to share stories and add comedic twists to everything. Such a contrasting pair yet I feel like both felt comfortable and lively in this interview. Everyone was respectful, funny, and interesting. And it wasn't like a Hollywood style interview it was very old fashioned and almost like an editorial but podcast style. Loved this!
What's wild is that there's a video of Trump from the 90's doing a skit with Rudy Giuliani in drag and Trump is coming onto Rudy. Please look it up. The idea that drag queens have ever been a threat to America is so silly. Love you Trixie.
What's it called?

Larry ending with "thank you, Honey" cracked me up. I can't believe im just seeing this interview for the first time in 2023

Larry being goals for when we are older like maybe we don’t get it but we are still vibing anyways 😂😂 Also Larry being me while I’m around hetero couples 😂😂
This is the most lovely interview I think I've ever been privileged to witness. So respectful of eachother, so sweet, so much kindness between them and then when Larry called Trixie Honey at the end I nearly cried. That there was a good, kind-hearted man with an open mind who was always willing to learn.
I love the crew is laughing. This is an amazing interview.
this was a heart warming interview.. two very different generations of people, showing respect to one another
Aw this interview is so sweet, so glad this is up for Pride Month.
I still don't understand how some people feel so threaten by drag queens 🤦♂️
Why did the 'Just now?' and head swivel crack me up insane... lmao Trixieeeeee @16:40
I've loved Trixie for years but this is my first time seeing her interviewed in this style. Loved it! Love her!
I love that she answers every question by starting with, "Oh!"
What a fantastic interview. The two of them together is golden. 😍
I love the respect they show each other. Trixie is so soft spoken and this particular interview really highlights her intellectual side. She shows a great understanding and philosophical perspective way to view the world and knows how to put it into words. Larry and Trixie really have a great dynamic here 😊
