The most popular chef in the world is Gordon Ramsay, I like to say we are both friends. You can clearly see how much he loves me on the beggining of this video. Today I formally challenge him to a steak cook off. Chef Gordon lets do this!

    • Its fake because Ramsay was NOT told to cook the steaks on a charcoal grill, thus the experiment is already biased by CHOOSING taste testers who prefer charcoal grilling and ONE of them gives that away in all honesty after the 2nd taste, saying "......Its missing charcoal...." Means no matter what, HIS choice would be charcoal flavor amongst all others, BUT he did not have opportunity to taste Gordon's steak, cooked by Gorden, on a charcoal grill.

      @TheOriginalFaxon@TheOriginalFaxon11 күн бұрын

    • IDK if you have a Publix anywhere near you, but I find VERY nice choice cuts there all the time. Most are just your standard choice, but a few are prime quality and since cattle aren't graded by the cut they get some good steaks. I have never looked into where they source their beef from, but those ranchers are doing it right.

  • Honest feedback here - good video and I'm always a fan of the channel. I watch at least most episodes that hit and have tried my share of the recipes. I honestly don't like how there have been several videos where the headline implies that he's up against Gordon Ramsay and each time it's just a solo video. Really not a huge deal but it's one of those things KZheadrs do that I think a lot of people aren't huge fans of. Otherwise good content as always

      @sirlost94@sirlost947 күн бұрын
    • @sirlost94 not to be difficult or pushy but I don't believe that. This is a case of them both having too much to lose. If Guga were to lose a cook-off to Gordon then he'd lose massive credibility as KZhead's steak guy, and if Gordon lost a cook-off to Guga then Gordon, being one of the most well known chefs in our culture, just lost a cook-off to a KZheadr. Behind the scenes they are both aware of this so I don't think either is really willing to do any direct competing or any content that had one coming out ahead of the other. Maybe a team up where they're friendly at best and there's a convenient tie at the end or something at very best

Hell, remember that one time when Gordon went to cook a cheese sammich in a cast iron skillet next to an open wood fire, and he burned it black? I love Gordon, but Gordon just can't do direct flame or charcoal-fired cooking. Maybe that's just something the Imperials lost, while those of us born in the Americas grow up learning. @dicmccoy@dicmccoy12 күн бұрын
  • Hey Guga! Will all due respect, you can not call this video a “Challenge”, and here’s why: you are deliberately trying to make your version of a steak dinner more impressive looking in every way then Gordon’s, giving it all you’ve got. In the meantime, you are taking a good half a day to do so. But you forget to mention that Gordon’s video was called literally “Gordon Ramsay Cooks Up a Simple Steak Dinner with Fries!”. A Simple steak dinner! And he took like literally 12 minutes to cook it, not 4 hours! The real challenge would be yourself and Gordon cook the same style of a steak dinner, simple or elaborate - I don’t care - and also timing your efforts. Because this is where a good chef will shine - efficiency. Let’s go Guga! Can’t wait!

    @zheckav@zheckav11 күн бұрын
    • since chef Ramsey is not here, yeah the challenge part is def for the clicks. Guga did give Ramsey’s a nice cut of Wagyu and gave himself a choice grade steak, so it helps, but we all know unless they go head to head in person with rules and maybe some more neutral judges there really isn’t a way for it to be fair.

    • @@mitchellsoshnekov2264 Yeah, It’s just sad tbh. I used to consider Guga as my favorite KZhead chef and I can sadly say that it simply isn’t the case anymore. He started uploading much less than he used to, continuously started to clickbait his videos like the 5 lbs of msg on the pizza or the burgers of the so called "Future" and generally he just fell off imo. He used to do crazy experiments that made me want to watch every single one of them and the last real experiments he has done were the "dough" dry age and the cheese oil frying method. Anyways I could go on and on, but it is genuinely sad to see so many big and cool KZheadrs become Clickbait hungry Douchebags.

  • I really want you to try how my family makes our steak. We get the whole slab of ribeye. Then leave it in the fridge for a week. Then we take it out and cut it up and vacuum seal them, and put them in freezer for 2 weeks. Then when we take them out to eat them after doing that. We season them lightly with Montreal on both sides and then season it heavily on both sides with Dux wild game. Hope you try it out since this is my family’s favorite way to eat steak.
