Well, we're half way through Season 4 now and the show is really starting to take some "creative liberties" and diverging a lot from the books (so I hear, I haven't actually read them). Since Bronn is definitely a fan favourite I wouldn't be surprised if the show chose to evolve his character and keep him on. It already is kind of happening. In the show Tyrion arranged for Bronn to be Jamie's sparing partner while in the books it was Ilyn Payne.

The reason for this is that the actor who plays Illyn Payne has terminal cancer and decided to quite acting to live out the rest of his life however he likes. The creators of the show decided not to recast the role and changed it to have Bronn spar with Jaime

Sad news, but they couldn't of done that scene anyway. It would've been boring as hell, the guy can't offer any dialog. Why show 1-2 minutes of him and Jamie just sparing when there's so much to cram in as it is. Would've been easier to cut the scene altogether, instead they did a bit of fan pandering (which I'm completely fine with) and had Bronn smack Jamie about with a toy sword for a minute or two whilst delivering some classic Bronn dialog. I have a feeling Bronn is going to remain in the show for as long as he remains popular.

Bronn is so interesting because first Jerome Flynn is an awesome actor and second he seems 75 % evil-badass-opportunist-sellsword and 25 % funny-loyal-friend. He's that guy you are not 100 % sure about in terms of unconditional loyalty but nevertheless that guy you truly want beside you in a battle against axe wielding, skull splitting unforgiving medieval barbarians. But the dry, short dialogues between Bronn and Tyrion make me laugh each and every time. I'd hate to see Bronn gone at some point. If anything I would like to see him get more screen time. Omg. A great actor like Flynn going back to his farm with no more acting?? Damn, that would have been a total waste.

Blazara Yeah, I wouldn't consider something like that betrayel. Without having watched the coming episodes where he (Bronn) decides not to fight for Tyrion there could be other factors involved. Maybe he had reason to believe Tyrion would have other options with a moderate chance of success or maybe he estimated his chances in that specific fight to be less than good. He also knows that there are quite a few ppl who would not want Tyrion to die for something he probably isn't guity of (E.g. Jamie, Tyrion's father and maybe Varys). I will have to see those events first to make any judgment.

I was somewhat aware of this, but not to exactly what regions it was showcasing. I know there are a lot of Tyrion chapters in ADWD, but ASOS does not let the reader know where Tyrion was headed at the end of the book. As far as I knew he could have met back up with Bronn at some point. But thanks for giving me hope that he makes it into the 6th book.

He is doing better than he used to. He started off on Solider Solider. Then him Robson Green became the cover artists (all the songs they did were cover versions). Simon Cowell used to manage them. Now he is a good actor.

I was somewhat aware of this, but not to exactly what regions it was showcasing. I know there are a lot of Tyrion chapters in ADWD, but ASOS does not let the reader know where Tyrion was headed at the end of the book. As far as I knew he could have met back up with Bronn at some point. But thanks for giving me hope that he makes it into the 6th book.

Wouldn't it be fantastic if Bronn were to go with Tyrion across the Narrow sea at the end of this season, Tyrion and Bronn work best together and bounce of one another, I like the idea of the two of them on an adventure to find Danaerys, and a great opportuntiy for comedy too

There's something about this guy's eyes that feels like he'd just as soon rip your face off as be nice to you. Almost makes you feel like when he plays Bronn, it's not all an act. Also, you don't get a nose like that without some conflict in your life.
the ending kinda showed his humanity he actually did seem touched by the notion of bringing people enjoyment after he said it and I think he just isn't used to all this it sounded like he was having a bad acting career until these two shows came along
