  • He lived in WW1, WW2, cold war, racism, poverty and hunger. his father abandoned him when he was 2. were raised by his grandmother. despite all of this he saw it as wonderful world. True legend!

  • This song is Beautiful and no one can sing it like Mr. Armstrong. I actually have requested my Son to sing it at my funeral . It is written with my final wishes. Maybe it will open some eyes and count Their Blessings. My son don't think he will be able to get thru singingit but I know he will. Thank You Mr. Armstrong

  • The world, indeed is a mess ! But having been homeless and going threw a lot of bad stuff, I have been truly blessed with the kindness of strangers! There really is more good people than bad in this world ! When you are down and out feeling the worst, look around you, believe me there really are people worse off, my prayers are with all people that need help of any sort! The Lord will help if you pray, believe in Jesus as your Savior , and ask Him............He will never leave you stranded ! The Lord is awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   • I've worked at a business about 10 years now, there was a homeless man who lived in the area I would see almost everyday and with his attitude I've always thought of this song when I saw him. He passed away yesterday. R.I.P. Larry...I've always loved him.

Just think positive, just BE positive... and with his incredible swinging voice, Louis just push us to get away from the dark and go to the light, that "rainbow", "so pretty in the sky"... and just swing and danse with him, a good way to feel really positive... Ghandi and Lincoln Martin X JFK and Bobby should always be remembered! Never give up, even if you have to go down standing up for what's right ! For someone else or your self. God, will remember!
