  • Hear me out, I think it could be fun to do a one month experiment where you pick your tbr and you're bound to it. No changing it, no dnfs (I fully support dnfs normally), no adding a different book during the month that has caught your eye. Would the experience affect/cause the following things: -Reading slump? -Not liking a story at first, realizing it was worth finishing? -How accurate you could predict the amount you could/wanted to read in a month -How accurately you could pick books for one month of different moods -If the "power through method" (since you can't change anything) is something you would try again -Feelings after having completed or failed (for lack of a better word) after the month I.e a sense of an accomplishment? or relief that it's over? or neutrality?

  • I am a person who prides themselves on how little I’m in my phone. Turns out I need to work harder to do things besides reach for my phone and mindlessly scroll. Replacing screen time with reading is such a smart idea!! I’ve been in a reading lull and maybe that’s be because I’m on my dang phone so much. Haha! Reading Goal: Replace screen time with reading time. Finish 3 books this week doing that. Thanks, Des! ❤
