It is not correct that the DNA mentioned the tribe. When my mother who is biracial did her DNA, she discovered that she was 48% Nigerian. She then started a journey with her family ( brothers/ sisters and aunties) to Nigeria to investigate. It takes time as most of the African American ancestors are a result of slavery.And it is only when she was in Nigerian that they can work to figure this out. It is a long process and Meghan is not the first and only African American celebrity who discovered that she got a Nigerian heritage. We met some African American in Nigeria when we were there going through the same process, we even met a family who discovered that they have a small part of Kenyan heritage as well.
