  • Here we are nearly 47 years after his passing and 54 years after this 1970 Vegas performance. It doesn’t get any better than that. No auto tune, just pure talent . I think it’s great that the younger generation are educating themselves on the greatest entertainer that ever lived. Elvis had it all and for us he gave his everything. May he rest in eternal peace 💙

  • Hi Jen z, the world is never going to have anyone else on this planet that can touch your heart and soul the way Elvis does , I was lucky enough to see this Beautiful MAN Among Men Elvis on 3 occasions and those days are etched in my heart and soul, this man was a Beautiful gift from the Lord above and no one else can touch it , He was just as beautiful to his fans as he was in concert , he always treated everyone with dignity and respect just like his Beautiful Mama and Daddy , he never forgot where he came from and how he felt as a child growing up in the ghetto , he picked up so much of his God Given Talent from just watching and searching for the answer to make his mama so proud and happy , the sad part is she passed while he was serving the country for America and didn't ask for any special treatment , He made life Long friend's while he did his duties for the country and they were with him for the Rest of his life. I have just recently found your channel and I thank you for the great reaction you give to him, I wish you could react to Elvis singing Just Pretend and Suspicious Minds in Vegas 1970 , and remember that what you hear is straight from Elvis , no auto tune, just the Magic and Mystic of this Beautiful MAN Among Men Elvis forever and Always TCB 1935

I grew up with Elvis, it’s not possible for me to pick a favorite, there are far too many! The only station on my radio is Elvis on Sirius XM. I appreciate other great artists of his time and beyond, but there is no comparison to our King Of Music, The spectacular, charismatic, and Beautiful Elvis Presley!! He’s in 5 Hall Of Fames: Rock and Roll, Gospel, Country, Rythum and Blues, and Blue Grass! God Bless you and Elvis, the King ( although he didn’t like being called The King, because he would say, and I quote “ there is only one King, and sometimes point towards the heavens) Rest In Sweet Peace Elvis 💗💔

  • Thank you for this. :) For me (56) it is very interesting to see how young people react to Elvis today. I love music in general and there are great songs and artists at any time. However, I heard Elvis for the first time when I was 6 years old, and he still accompanies me and inspires me to this day. For the younger generations, music is now an increasingly accessible, very "smoothly polished" thing, everything was already there and only the lyrics can make it even more blatant. Pitch correction kills individuality and hardly allows any “big” or idiosyncratic voices. It is all the more beautiful and fascinating when young people (like you JayFlex) discover the old artists and the magic and passion takes place with them too. And it's still happening, with all the force. Well, Elvis...was the cherry on the cake of all this magic. And apparently it still is today. :)

My father had his old 45s and would play them when we were little. I watched all the Elvis movies when they had elvis week . I had a crush on him. This song originally sung by Simon & Garfunkel. You should check that out. Oh, I'm actually related to Elvis on my Great grandma's side. She married a presley. Someone did the research and yup, he's a cousin. The uncle that sang to us had a naturally beautiful voice as a child. Tore it up with smoking and alcohol. His mom was a Presley, my grandmother.

I'm glad youger people are getting to know Elvis who will always be the King if you haven't heard Elvis sing "In The Ghetto" you should definitely play that recording. Elvis' record company did not want him to record that song, and neither did his manager. Elvis recorded it anyway. It tells a very sad story that he felt needed to be told. It was written by zmac Davis.

  • My friend, I am so glad to see you discover Elvis. As I've heard them all, and as my professor, both a musicologist and professional symphony orchestra player told us, "I don't believe you will ever be able to find anyone who sings so many different genres of music, as majestically, as Elvis Presley. Going on to mention that Elvis could hit notes like an opera singer, when called for, and also making this distinction with the great Frank Sinatra. As he had us all listen to 'My Way' done by each gentleman, with 'My Way,' of course, being Sinatra's signature song. Though honestly, more than half the class preferred the Elvis version, but that wasn't our professor's point. His point, in what he just demonstrated was, that Elvis could quite easily play in Sinatra's backyard, but if Sinatra were to try to sing the hard driving blues, rock or rockabilly of Elvis, he's sound ridiculous. Even though, as we all know, Sinatra has one of the most unique and beautiful voices in the world, and was a master with phrasing. But Elvis, with his voice alone, stands at the top, and I totally love Freddie Mercury, Michael Jackson, Sam Cooke and others, too. But in doing my own research, I came to find out the same thing our professor claimed. No one sang so many different type songs, so, so beautifully. Elvis here, in this rendition of Simon and Garfunkel's 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' is also pitch perfect. Leaving Simon to say to Garfunkel, after hearing Elvis sing the song live, "[w]hat the F are we going to do now?" Because with so many songs, it's true.... Once Elvis sang it, it pretty much became fully associated with him. And none of that takes into account how he was perhaps the world's best looking man from 1968 - 1970; had a tremendous sense of humor; was well read and highly intelligent, as well as being a great humanitarian, and was clearly a musical prodigy as as he learned to play the guitar, drums, piano, harmonica and trumpet, all pretty much on his own, with a few people showing him something, but just here or there. While for those who question Elvis' ability to play guitar, in spite of Johnny Cash calling him the greatest rhythm guitarist he ever saw, simply watch Elvis play lead guitar while singing "Trying to Get to You," as I've still yet to see anyone can just sit there and play, rocking out so greatly!!!
