Great Idea On Pallet Woodworking Project // How to Make A Storage Chest From Recycled Wood
I love it when the pallet recycling videos start out with, "First, put the wood through your professional grade joiner and planer!"
MUY buena calidad, el texto imagenes. kzhead.infoUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO Un manuel muy completo y trabajado. Resulta muy práctico. Para principiantes y profesionales. Lo recomiendo
Love it, I would've used glue along with your fasteners for a more sturdy and long lasting build. Ty for the upload.
It’s one of the best pallet wood projects I’ve seen in a while. Thank you for sharing. However, no glue and no screws? I can’t see that box lasting long.
Yup! My kind of project! No words needed in this video! Perfect!
It’s nice to hear people explain what they’re doing and how to do it.
Nice project. I like how you used so many wood jointing techniques. It gives us hope that we too can build a wood chest.
I want this to be my first project. I love how you did the sides not too sure on the top and bottom though I might want to reinforce the bottom part and the top sharper cuts so they fit tight up against each other over all this is the easiest way I've seen it done.
so nice very good
i'm just jealous coz you make a wonderfull job bravoooooooooo beautifull , good job
Excelent video Direct like from România
Simple and beautiful 🇵🇸❤️🕊 I love it Respect and love from Jerusalem Palestine 🇵🇸
mil likes, good job
I like the concept, but if you are planning on keeping anything heavy in it for any length of time, your bottom is going to fall out. The bottom needs to be reinforced with something other than staples or brad nails.
Should have at least used glue
@@jameschester3986 Exactly. I was thinking the same thing throughout the build. Nice box though.
I think atleast some screws and glue would add alot more strength to the project, but the build was good.
Nice build
This is a great video to base projects off of
Nice job & fun project.
Good job
Nice job
Semplicemente stupendo!!!! complimenti bravissimo!!!👏👏👏
it seems like some one already had an encounter with a saw -- woow -- keep up the good work congrats
Looks great, I just noticed your lock was installed incorrectly, Screws should be behind the metal. Otherwise anyone can remove 3 screws and open chest apart. I like that you used planer and sander to make the wood looking perfect. Good way to repurpose the pallets. I will definitely try it and recycle my pallets
Careful with your selection of pallet wood, not all is equal, pallets painted should be avoided as they contain chemicals in the material. Also pay attention to stamps on the outside of the pallets, avoid those labelled MB, MBL or MLB as they contain methyl bromide
I agree with you it looks great, but I think the bottom is not strong enough. The bottom is only held by some nails. Any more weight in that storage chest and the bottom will come off.
That's the least of his worries, the bottom will drop out as soon as anything is stored in it, also would have been nice to see a bit of glue used, the large screws concealed, and sprayed behind the catch. 👍
simple, just what Ive been looking for
Very Nice Chest and Makes a Great Heirloom for a Family to pass on.
It’s pretty and decorative . It won’t last long though if you actually use it.
@@TeddyR_Official if wood glue was used, maybe a bit longer. But with using all brad nails I was thinking just the same.
Good thank you
Very nice project. Very inspirational. I can think of a hundred ways to utilize and change this project. Thanks for you idea and inspiration.
Good job. Spray paint / dye before adding the hardware & hasp fixings need to be behind the plate for security.👍
he is eyeballing everything:)
I wouldn't trust putting much weight in it with those finish nails holding the bottom boards on.
Complimenti!!! Molto bella, vedrò di copiare il progetto!!
I kept watching thinking it would get better. This is a great beginners project for sure. Not very good skills, but A for effort.
spectacular
Hat off to you sir
WOW that's beautiful 😍
Parabéns 👏👏👏 muito lindo o baú. Também faço baú com forro de cedrinho .
I made a foot locker box for my nephew using all sorts of scrap wood that came from a wood bed, part of my brother in law's garage he tore down, some came from a pallet. I made it work and it came out great. From a guy that didn't know what he was doing. Now I have a air nailer the next box I made came out even better. I don't have a planer so all my box's look ruststic looking.
Nice! 🙂
Best DIY video I’ve seen Thank you
With most pallets you'd be lucky to get four usable pieces of wood.
You're taking them apart wrong. You gotta use leverage to lift them off the nails. You'll get a number of split ends, but if you cut those off you have mostly usable wood.
Kaunis arkku. 👍👏
I like it! Good Job.
Very nice work 😎
Fantastic good job! Greetings from México
Hermoso
Awesome. Now you just need to fill it with treasure and bury it on an island😀
Nice job.
looks good..need glue to last though
Quedo bien hecho el cajón. Saludo de New Jersey.
Good job You are excellent
very nice project. I might give this one a try.
Guy has an awful lot of faith in a brad nailer and doesn't like glue, evidently. I would have stained it before attaching the hardware, but that's just me.
Very creative,nice job
It's beautiful
Çok güzel oldu sandık halika 👏👏👏👍👍👍🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷
You make a lot of interesting furniture that i have seen out pallets you are the best. ROCCO

I liked the missing finish behind the latch, that would drive me nuts if I owned it.
Excellent work 👍👍👍
Really impressive! Nice decorative piece
Not a single drop of glue. 😂
Belo trabalho meu amigo... Abraço... 🛠️👍🏼

I'm gonna make and sale these on the weekends at a vendors row..Don't have any plans but I don't really need them I can just about wing it on exact measurements I get the idea so ill manage. I think these would flip easily 🤔
I love it, great job and thank you so much for the wonderful upload........🇦🇺👍🏽👍🏽
At 10:00, you are routing in the wrong direction, that is why the router is kicking so much. You're supposed to go against rotation, like on a table saw, but you are going with the direction of rotation, which is called climb cut, and the router is trying to jump out of your hands. Couple that with holding your fingers that close to the blade insted of on the handle, well... Let's just say I'm not surprised by the missing finger.
Pallets in my area are mostly plywood now not solid wood and many delamintes at the ends. It will take a lot of effort to deconstruct the pallets to save all the component parts unless you saw through much of it. Nails hold on so tight some will break into pieces that you might just use a saw.
AMAIZING!!!! I LOVE
Yes, it is great work. You must be happy with the results.
Amazing!!!
Wow, free handing the curved rabbet like a boss! good work, like it a lot but why no glue?
I have always wanted to make a trunk, i guess its time i do it. Thanks for sharing.
