These were fun to watch when you initially got em. Grading gets weird at low levels because centering and stuff may be good which causes the grading to be hogher than they appear

@@vaibhav2973I'm not sure I kno other card games go by playability usually but with Pokemon might jus be how rare they are and collectible cuz highly doubt these cards are still good with all the exs n gxs n stuff jus knock these cards out in game ya kno. That would be my best guess how rare the set is and the condition of the card
@vaibhav2973 For vintage cards it's just how much you're willing to spend dude. But ofc it's crowd favorites, rarity, and in modern playability is also big.
My best guess for the Lugia card is that it was ironed to remove creases and the heat caused the foil layer to start separating.
Or cudve got washed n sum1 used hair dryer on it lol but yea either way rip

Note to self that old chasers even in poor quality, are still worth a pretty penny
And you can get the majority for less than raw, if they are already graded.

Been looking for my old 1st edition collection from back when I was a kid for like the past 2 years. I have literally gone through EVERYTHING at my parents house from when I was a kid but it seems like my parents have given them away or thrown them away. Watching your videos really increase my anxiety over the fact that potentially so much money is lost, but its a strangely addictive form of self-torture cause its still really satisfying to watch xD

A few weeks ago we had a really bad flood here in san diego. We lost most of our singles and sealed product. We recovered and opened most of the sealed and got some pulls. We are thinking sending them to get graded and save them as memories 😓😓 would be nice to see what grades we get

These cards are so amazing to see. These are artworks you rarely see these days. Seeing the condition hurts a little though.
I have a Salamence holo from Holon Phantoms that has an 'S' written on the back in marker... That would definitely come back altered 😅

I loved this concept. I think if you were to do this again it would be really interesting to add some variety by choosing a card to buy and then spinning a wheel to that would determine the condition you purchase it in. Therefore, you might have to purchase a HP cheap card or NM copy or anything in between. Then grade them to see how you make out
What site do you use to check the market value of graded cards?
I wonder if you can help I have found all of my old rares and I have over 200 of like near mint of not 10s of bundles of ultimate rares and cards never seen I believe on research, where do you grade Yughio cards ??

I had a Lugia with the exact same spot in the holo! I dont know how it got there, I purchased it with the damage and sold it eventually for $30- but it was exactly the same!
