and you know when my friend and i went to see fast 9 the moment we realized that these movies had gone astray from what they were and that they had abandoned their sense of reality . we looked at each other and just nodded and left the movie theatre . beacuse we realized that this movie was nothing more than bullshit
Based on the clips i've seen so far? 0 and that is because Jason (Dante) is the literally only redeemable thing about it. Vin's ego has just made this series boring as hell.

Dom has been in coma since the end of the first movie wen he hit that truck while racing Bryan, all this madness we been seeing in the latest movies its all in his mind

It's sucks that these films have gotten so ridiculous that we even have to question whether or not a character is actually dead. This could've been a heroic moment and a small moment of character growth, which is pretty rare in these movies, but it's the simple fact that they've pulled the "they didn't die" trope so many times for similar scenes that it's hard to take this as seriously as they want us to. Unless we actually see their corpse afterward, our immediate thought is going to be that the character survived somehow and is going to be back later on. That's been the attitude ever since they decided to bring back Han.

@chiragparmar1964 Actually, I don't remember Letty pissing people off as much as Han did. Letty was the first, so while yeah, some people probably saw it as a lazy bit of storytelling, she was cut a bit of slack since, at the time, it seemed like a one-time thing. But bringing back Han was when people started to get pissed. We were shown his death 3 times prior to F9 from every conceivable angle, but now they want us to accept that he managed to survive with the explanation for how he survived simply being "Mr. Nobody did it." The explanation for Letty surviving was stupid because it brought up the question of why didn't Fenix just shoot her point blank, but at least there was some amount of logic there. The explanation for Han surviving is based entirely on the idea that Mr. Nobody knew that DK would confront Han about the whole stealing money thing, that it would lead to a chase through the city, and that Shaw would be there at that moment.
@@vontavius01 Yeah, at least Letty felt like it was in good fun, and they got some decent stories out of it. Han felt like a lack of creativity, and an attempt to absolve Shaw. The guy killed dozens of innocent people, but one named character was too much, lol

No I doubt it really would. Most fans stopped caring about the characters and story ever since the family became the avengers. I think most people just watch these movies to see how the next one will surpass the previous one’s ridiculousness.

Knowing the Fast Furious franchise he's coming back in the next one or rumored 3rd one. Han,Letty,Gisele list goes on with these characters that supposedly died yet they end up returning somehow.
@@raidenskywalker3702 That’s so true that makes Fast & Furious so corny especially that one scene I believe it was in Fast Six when Dom jumps across from a bridge to catch His woman Letty from falling to Her death and making it to the other bridge landing on a car hitting the front windshield of it really hard to crack the windshield but He didn’t show no sign of pain just asking Her.. “Are You okay…” That had Me going berserk in the movie theater on how so unrealistic that movie has become that had girls in the row in front of Me laughing 😄
@@GSwoll100 basically if no body onscreen then that character definitely not dead. So we didn't see Jakob charred body so he's definitely coming back since Vin Diesel definitely wants that Avengers Endgame of everyone coming in to aid Dom in the final battle.

@@GSwoll100 the only way I don't see Cena coming is back is if he's tied up with something else. Knowing Vin Diesel he would want Cena to be there. If Dwayne really trying to do that it proves that he has big ego or upset that his Black Adam wasn't well received while Cena's Peacemaker definitely was.

@@CLA82529 He wasn't actually that bad in the original Fast and the Furious. Not winning an Oscar or anything, but he could convey emotions and play off of other actors. My theory is that he ate some bad seafood shortly after that and a parasite has slowly been eating his frontal lobe.

When Jakob's car flipped over from one lane over to the other and crashed, it did remind me of the scene in F9 when Jack (Dom, Jakob and Mia's father) died when his car flipped and hit the fence. ❤

This movie felt like infinity war. Members of the team are mostly split throughout the movie.
They should end the series with a back to basics film called Toretto. It's 10 years later and Dominic's son goes missing within the underground racing scene. Dominic stops at nothing to find him and bring him home.

This is why I can’t believe Jacob sacrifice himself to save Dom from Dante’s crew, do so caused becoming a hero. It would’ve been awesome for a duo like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and John Cena to collaborate together to help Dom against Dante so far, sadly, not make me surprise for a huge audience. Good thing The Rock shows up in post credits, I already knew he’s coming back to help Dom.
For Dom to lose his brother and Little Brian to lose his uncle that way was very sad and devastating

Fun fact both of those helicopters weight twice as much as dom's charger, so his car can smash them together is beyond me.
Yeah. That's the only issue with the scenes
The helicopter scene is actually well done Dom used speed along with the helicopters to keep his car actually level but proved he had proper shocks for that by dropping onto the road from a plane of a similar level however the guardrail would have destroyed the engine and warped the frame however very well choreographed
It is funny because Hobbs and Shaw had to get help from Hobbs's brothers to take down Brixton's helicopter while Dom managed to take out both helicopters. Unusual?
