pearl green x bow isn’t hard to play at all. It just has a couple difficult match ups but it isn’t super hard to play at all

It looks like Crafter does not BM when you are recording. Because he always BMs with the laughing goblin emote when i spectate him. hahaha. He's a beast with xbow.

I crush with xbow almost every time but that’s on tournaments and challenges. I don’t use it on ladder because I’m f2p and I’m at 5650 trophies and my xbow deck isn’t leveled up enough

That's accurate after watching a pro make it look easy you think you can do it to.

Icebows easier to play imo just as good as 2.9 in offense and defense

When I first saw this deck in your showcase of it from about a month ago I decided to give it a try in Electro Valley. Now I’m almost in Master 2 and still using this deck. Thank you for giving this deck some spotlight!
I’m so glad you changed your upload time! Haha, now I can actually see your videos right outta the oven:) love from Malaysia. And I don’t think 2.9 or icebow are dead. They are definitely less played ( at least in my trophy range ) but in the hands of a pro those xbow decks can even beat their “hard-counters”.

Crafter makes playing the xbow look so easy !! this is an underrated classic meta deck but the skill required is high. This is insane gameplay man. I definitely understand your hype lol.

X-bow pump is so fun for me, its personally my x-bow deck. Also all wincons except wallbreakers are viable imo

I've been playing 2.9 for the last few months.. Love watching crafter play. This gives me some more info about how to play against tough matchups. Switched the ice spirit with zap because of all sparkys and minion horde.
think fire spirits would be a better replacement, more versatile

Great video ash. Honestly, as an xbow player myself(succesfully maxed out xbow as a F20 player u swear) ,there is no real "one size fits all" template for "how to play xbow" especially 2.9. This is why you may see that when you invite more than one pro on to talk about how to handle specific match ups, they generally have their own ways. Another reason is that certain things are just unteachable. Its hard to explain but things like activating king tower using skeletons, ice spirit and ice golem are quite hard to teach someone new to this archetype. Most of these will be picked up by players with time and effort. Playing a lot helps too. For me, i just enjoy the beauty if Crafters game. He is very much different from me because he is very aggresive and not afraid to be down elixir whereas i on the other hand(like many other 2.9 pros) prefer to play slow. Cheers ash!

thank you ash, i'm 20 x-bows away from maxing it and i'm trying to get as much info as posible to atleast get to 6600, these videos are so helpful in many ways. just a lil thing that would help more could be if he gives like tips after every match for example "i placed my xbow on offense because i knew he used a 4 elixir card and couldn't cicle to another pekka" so little things like that would help much more. thank you!

Hey thanks man! They're the ultimate defensive setup. They avoid spell dmg on the weak side tower and they also can kite building targeting troops when you center the tesla :)

Tysm for the xbow video. With all golem lightning, RG lightning and now the surprise return of splashyard with bowler, its pretty tough to play with. Im surprised Canon cart isn't as prevalant as I thought it would be. The things I always take away are the little interactions that Crafter, and Ganon and other xbow pros do that sets them apart from us above average xbow players. I just hit 6.6k trophies and top 6000 global so getting a xbow video is pretty helpful now lol

hi ash, i was wondering if u could make another video about loon cycle? I am at 6400 atm and i feel like its not as good in this meta, i see a lot of nado + building wich is impossible /: (i use the deck with loon rascals inferno (level 12) cards)
As an occasional 3m player around 5300 trophies, it was painful to watch that last match. I feel like X-bow, weather it is ice-boow or 2.9, is the most stressing match-up, because you are constanly forced out of cycle. Crafter is a beast! So much to learn from him! Great video Ash, as always!
I do agree honestly. Considering that if you're not playing a fireball bait variant of 3M, they can just fireball all 3 of your musketeers behind the king tower.

Hey Ash, Last season I got my PR with 2.9 at 6703 trophies. I have saved all your 2.9 videos, always trying to improve and mimic the gameplay but these guys make it look so easy. It is impossible to get a placement on leaderboard with this deck if you’r not crafter or dank lol. Really impressive gameplay by Crafter but honestly I prefer Dank Ganon as I play passive just like him. Thanks for the video 🙌

great video as always. Thanks for the awesome content ash! The thing with the xbow is that is way too defensive and it gets really boring to play against. Most of the times you can't push them because of the fast defensive cycles. To be a good bow player you have to have so much patience, it´s a double edge sword, but a really boring sword :P

Hey what do you think about adding decor like statues and trophies in the game, for example on my half of the arena. Instead of spamming rare emotes a rare statue would be just as good. Outside the borders where we don't play, we can customise it ourselves. Just an idea, hoping you'd read this

I've played 2.9 for a year now and I can still have success with it, but every new meta you have to learn and play it dozens of times to win against it. But it does feel like almost every matchup is a hardcounter.(balloon cycle, golem, rg and rg cycle, I mean I can go on and on) but I can still win it's just tons of practice against the matchups to learn how to win
Hey Ash I wanted to see if you were ever able to inform Supercell of the chest unlock time glitch. It seems that the unlock timers reset occasionally and take way longer to unlock than they should.

Muhammad Nuruddin Hog quake is definitely beatable. The problem is the amount of beatdown decks going around. Super cell is stupid as hell they been bugging Beatdown indirectly for the longest. Bunch of fucking morons that don’t play the game they’ve been doing this bull shit
I play xbow as my main deck (ice bow as my primary, 2.9 when I want a change) and since the update it's been rough. Golem is basically an automatic loss for us "mortals" and valkyrie has been surprisingly common and annoying. And of course the standard frustration of overleveled players on ladder

I'm currently running 2.9 as my first serious ladder deck. I've pushed to master 2 this season with my cards at lvl 11. I struggle with balloon + hog, mega knight, and giant decks.
I used to play Giant skele and Elite barbs deck. But i couldn't get past 5K and then I started playing 2.9 x-bow and currently reached 6K. Best decision of my life. Destroying players is fun. Thanks for the video I learned much more tricks from this. Aiming for 6.3K now

That 3m deck was soooo good. When ash said when was the last time you faced 3m. My only up to level deck is OG 3m with DP instead of battle ram. (Sad noise)

I’ve been playing X-Bow 2.9 for around 15 months non stop. Whether I play 2v2 or 1v1. I’ve improved so much but I still make silly little mistakes or miss clicks and it’s just game over from there. I have to keep studying these X-Bow videos and I know I’ll get there.
