Jericho 'Action' Jackson is just an average cop doing his thing...well, not exactly. This is the vehicle that should have given the world a new movie star in Carl Weathers, but sadly it didn't tick all the boxes at the box office.
The action on the other hand certainly did. CRAIG BAXLEY is the director who's had plenty of experience in this field as the stunt coordinator on shows like The A-Team, Hunter and The Dukes Of Hazzard. This movie came on the back of PREDATOR, which he also directed the 2nd unit.
Enjoy

One of those movies where you see "everyone" from different features of the decade - produced by Joel Silver - Ed O'Ross, Robert Davi, Bill Duke, Mary Ellen Trainor, Sonny Landham and Jack Thibeau et al. I'm not bothered about the plot (giving the main character a purpose to defeat an enemy, seen many times before) : credit goes to Jophery Brown as Stunt Coordinator. Doubling for Morgan Freeman on several occasions and Brown has worked alongside so many - Van Damme, Pacino, Willis, Schwarzenegger, Stallone and countless others on feature films - thank you for the upload. Rest in peace to Mr Carl Weathers.
Superb stunt sequences.
👍👍👍🎥
I know you’re a busy man John, but I’d love to see one of your episodes on Tommy J Huff. Sadly no longer with us. From Convoy and CHiPs he predominantly did truck stunts. Which has my interest peaked. He played an actual character in Convoy (my favourite movie of all time) and, because of your channel I found out that the white Brockway with the timber on the trailer that rolled in the movie was driven by Jophery Brown. Who rolled it by accident. Another legend lost. Thanks for my favourite channel.
Thank you for this in-depth analysis. It was like a greatest hits compilation of the halcyon days of 80's action cinema. Great stuff.
Could you cover the a team tv series and thr professionals tv show please

Henry Kingi not Henri Kingi... by the way, we need a interview with the amazing Henry Kingi, he is amazing! Cheers from Portugal. Keep up with your great videos.❤
He turned 80 last month : the extensive resumé of Kingi Sr says it all and he's featured alongside Will Smith, Arnold S, Bruce Willis, Mel Gibson, Steven Seagal, Sylvester Stallone and that's the ones who come to mind.
See if you can get an interview with Henry Kingi and ask him about how the A Team stunt van was prepared for the jumps. I'm assuming some kind of Dukes of Hazzard style suspension harness was used for the couple of times he jumped the van.

Jon do you think it’s easier being a stunt performer nowadays? , they don’t use real flames now and everything is green screen and wire work , not like the old days 😂
Car crashes and explosions look exciting but in reality people die in minor shunts, so how many innocent bystanders , passengers and drivers, including children would be killed in the actual chase. At least in the A team the stunt performers were shown scrambling out of the wrecks.
Laughable movie. Full of plot holes and ridiculous sequences ie: Driving a car up a flight of stairs in a house.😆 The main character runs after a speeding car and catches up with it. ( I wish I could do that) The driver of that car shoot into the roof and missing the individual (Jackson) who is on the roof of the car. I could go on. But some brilliant stunt work in this movie.
