Come on a Monday night walking tour of The Mirage on the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Mirage is a hotel and casino that opened in November 1989. In December 2022, the Hard Rock International took over The Mirage and plan to rebrand it as the Hard Rock Las Vegas. Rebranding and construction of the Hard Rock Las Vegas will start in the near future. The Mirage Volcano will be replaced by a guitar tower. The Mirage is home to The Volcano, The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil, and restaurants like Osteria Costa and Tom Coliccio's Heritage Steak. The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil show will come to an end on July 7, 2024. The Mirage will close for good on July 17, 2024 after 34 years on the Las Vegas Strip. It will reopen in May 2027 as a rebranded Hard Rock Casino with a guitar shape tower.

The Mirage always reminds me of the movie Vegas Vacation lol. So sad to find out that they will be closing in July.

It was closed temporarily for the F1 Las Vegas and Super Bowl. Hard Rock hasn’t announced anything concrete about the volcano closure yet.
All that wasted space where the closed buffet is. That's a lot of unused square footage.
Yeah, everything will be chaotic until the rebranding is complete.
