  • First time seeing Zy in real life, and I gotta say you're handsome (no homo) Also, thanks for the tips! Health is wealth, which my parents told me. I don't drink energy drinks anymore when gaming. Instead, I drink water because it's more healthier and refreshing. I used to smoke, but I quit because it affected my breathing and I get tired easily when I do chores, which is why I vape now. I drink on occasions. For posture, I always slouch when I play competitively, but I can't lean back properly because my chair's backrest isn't long enough to reach my head. I do try leaning back as much as possible so I won't slouch more. I'm also a fat person, but I do exercises by walking around my block for about 30 minutes on weekends. I know it's kind of a slow process, but I'll up my exercise game soon. Anyway, I just want to share my experience because your video inspired me to focus on my health even when I'm gaming. For all the other gamers out there, please don't start smoking. If you're a smoker, try vaping.

Also, great advice to follow, I put on unnecessary weight in the past couple years so I've started doing exercises about 3 times a day and I'm going out for walks around my neighbourhood. I'm also starting to cut down on sugars and my coffee intake, trying to reduce it to at least 1 cup a day. I've also started to create a consistent sleep cycle by setting an alarm every day and going to bed no later than 12AM, that way it's consistent but still has some flexibility. Over time I want to incorporate different types of exercise, right now I'm just sticking with push-ups(regular and triangle) and sit-ups. You're the best Zy!

I changed the way I use the mouse while playing, started using either my forearm or the elbow to anchor. That relieved quite a lot stress my wrist was enduring during the long computer sessions. Also, I would recommend having your desk deep enough so that you can rest your arm on the table or just move the keyboard to your lap and rest your arm diagonally on the desk while playing. If you are using a high desk with wrist as the anchor to your mouse movements close to the edge, you're gonna have a problem.

You would be a great scientist. And to think I came here to try to find which mouse to get as I built my first pc... If I'm being totally honest your content has actually provided some value to my life, so thanks! (great vids outside of gaming, I fell in love with Quake, and ended up actually really liking the mouse you made). I guess the design of gaming peripherals and its impact on performance is a science ;) zy, you seem like a cool dude

  • absolutely great video dude, love it, very informative and actually a lot of the points you made do stand true. I would like to just add one to the list though, a lot of people actually have bad posture because of the way their screen is positioned so to avoid that affecting your posture, you should lower or raise your monitor so as your eyes are level with the top third at least of the screen. I hope that makes sense, again great videos. you the man

    • The thing is there's thousands of articles saying that some coffee brings benefits to health while there's thousands of articles saying that is not healthy at all, so i think is all good as long as you drink at moderation, just like everything in life. I feel great drinking one/two times a day 1/3 of cup, but if i drink more than 3 times it starts to give me the same feelings as energetic drinks, which i dont enjoy at all. Also i do not use it with sugar.

    • First of all the media sucks at reporting the findings of scientific evidence, half of the time they get it wrong... Yes epidemiology studies have found that drinking coffee is associated with longer lives. Doesn't mean coffee makes you live longer but at least the finding wasn't the inverse, so if you like coffee then drink if you don't then no one is foircing you to drink it, I'd hope. Second of all with when you control for caloric and fiber intake, has no adverse affect on blood parameters of health as shown in this study: academic.oup.com/ajcn/article/65/4/908/4655511
