    • @Jay Cardon Trump's border wall is stopping illegal immigrants from over running black cities. Trump's First Step Act freed thousands of black men when he overturned Biden's 1994 Crime Bill which destroyed the black community with mass incarceration. After George Floyd's killing, Trump signed a police reform bill outlawing choke holds. Trump also pardoned the 1st black heavy weight champion Jack Johnson after Obama refused to do it. Before Trump, Historical Black Colleges had to go to the white house annually to beg for funding...Trump signed an order providing $250 million/yr in 10-year funding to black colleges. Trump's Opportunity Zone program puts $75 billion in 9,000 low income cities, helping black and minority businesses. Trump and Republicans are pushing for school choice to allow parents in low income areas to send their kids to better schools, Democrats are against this. Obama and Biden could have done all these things, but did nothing to help blacks during their 8 years in office. Jim Crow Joe Biden used the n-word 13 times in senate, he was mentored by former KKK recuriter Robert Byrd and other segregationists and said he didn't want his kids growing up in a "racial jungle"...blacks who still vote for Biden after that are the real sellouts.

But many TV stations up to the mid 2000's shot on videotape not film, and the resolution recorded to the tape was usually 480i. Even though this youtube video is in 1080p, you can tell the source video is a lower resolution than that and it's merely an upscale. Since this interview is from 2004 there's a possibility it was shot in 720p on tape, but honestly it looks more like 480p to me. They probably did some digital cleanup to it to make it look a bit better, but it's still clearly of a different time.

  • My father introduced my elder brother & I to Dave & Conan back in 04 through VCR tapes. My family is Indian and my father at that time lived in NY working in finance, and had a hobby of archiving American shows cause somehow he thought he would never get to access these shows again once he returned to India permanently, typical Dad. You see he went to college in the States and always missed American TV specially Johnny Carson. Anyways, he’d return home every year for Christmas and would carry these tapes with him to add to his collection. He’d often show my brother and I tapes of Dave, Louis CK & some favourite TV shows of his. I was too young to understand then however my older brother loved it. Few years later (around 08), I caught the bug too and started exploring comedy on my own. Last year, celebrating my Dad’s 73rd, we got him a VCR machine that hooks up to a modern TV screen to remind him of his good old days of taping late night TV & all his favourite shows. The smile on his face was priceless.

  • What I love about dave is that it doesn't feel like an interview. He's so unaffected by public opinion that it's just like 2 buddy's talking. He's such a role model to me. Nowadays every thing is so political, and I guess it always has been but at the end of the day I don't think that there is a hateful bone in his body. I love watching dave interact with people especially conan its great.

  • Fun fact: in 1968 during the making of the original Planet of the Apes, during lunch lunch breaks, the Apes, Gorillas, and chimps all naturally sat down at the tables and ate with only the actors dressed up as they were. NO ONE told them to do it. Let that sink in for a while.
