The way Daniel Radcliffe got casted was pretty cool. It reminded me of the fiasco Harry Potter had to go through to get his acceptance letter from Hogwarts. No matter how desperately Uncle Vernon tried to separate Harry from his wizarding roots, the universe (aka Dumbledore) was adamant about Harry fulfilling his destiny. I know there's a very simple, logical explanation for why Daniel kept running into the producers (his parents had connections to them and shared similar interests, plus they probably lived in the same area), but sometimes it's just nice to believe in magic.

When Daniel said that Alan flew in from Canada to support him, it reminded me that Alan said in an interview why he liked Canada so much. First, he liked America for the theme parks, but airports still reminded him a bit of England. But if he were in an airport in Canada, and he stumbled and fell down, then nobody said anything rude, bc he was very clumsy. But in England if you tripped and fell, then no one helped you up; they just glared at you like you were some lunatic. Thus, he loved Canada.

Hearing them talk about Alan Rickman broke my heart.
@@fleetstreet11 betray her?! What happened?!
at this point I don't even know how many times I have read harry potter books and watched the movies. I am beyond grateful for HP world and I still find it a beautiful scape world whenever I am stressed. Thank you so much JKR for what you created and thank you to all cast and crew who gave words life 🤍
Can you imagine leaving such a legacy? Just awe inspiring!
It's been 29 years since she started writing Harry Potter and we're still so into Harry Potter
Anonymous YT fr it’ll live on with this generation for a while
Are you sure? So you're saying she started writing the series in 1990? I think she started it around 1995.
I finished the series last week. I'm 33, never read any of them, never saw any of the movies "because it was for kids". Damn, I missed out. What a wonderful story. It's intelligent, it teaches kids all the right values and it gets fucking emotional in the end. If I ever have a family of my own, I'll read them all out loud and do the voices. :)
I am so glad I got to read the whole series before the last movie came out. The series is just fantastic. I want to read again!!!!
DereMemo Why?
+DereMemo 1. Aren't you the edgy one. 2. Why are you watching a video with Radcliffe and Rowling if you don't like Harry Potter.
you should read the book, im not gonna say any thing but this. If the movies were a 10, the books are 20
I started with the books, that's what I meant by my comment. Still going through the movies. They're ok, but the books are far better. :)
I remember watching harry potter 1 on a school trip in the cinema and it truly was a magical experience. The way the following movies developed, combined with watching the actors grow at roughly the same rate as me is why I'ts still one of my favourites ever since.
You got to see it on a school field trip?

Thank you for uploading! 🙂
I miss Alan Rickman 😔💗
Always.
After all this time?
We all do
Me, too... 😞💔
He was literally SO GOOD.
Every 30 seconds someone begins reading Harry Potter. It gives me chills remembering the first time I ever read the Sorcerers Stone, opening that book, little did I know that I was at the start of a magical adventure.

Scholastic changed the title, not him!
I did not want to read the book at all. My best friend made my read it, now I am a super fan
