Ha ha ha 😂😂😂😂 I hate to see her go, but you sent her off right.
Beautiful Cars I have a 2006 Coupe, which I love, but you made the right decision. Problem with major rebuilds is that you will always be listening for problems once it is back on the road.
Surprised not to see a “LS swap it” comment. 😅 I know if there was a reasonable swap you’d consider it. The violin dirge and tears in the camera lens was a fitting close.
I'd consider a LS swap if it didn't need about $3000+ in parts to get the body right and to make the swap work.
Poor old girl. A real shame but lots of value there in hard to find parts. The boot lift motor alone is impossible to buy now and most of them are broken.
The problem is it is such a marvel to look at. I love the design of these era Bentleys but the cost of ownership puts fear in the unknowns
It looked lowered when I first saw it before thinking about the strut. For a sec I was afraid you had gone native. Whew.
It’s cool to see a musician and mechanic do his work Yours a good violinist keep it up I’m impressed and that’s not easy to do
Enjoyed your violin funeral dirge ! ! ! take care, rh
I think you made the right choice with this one. Although I did want to see you fix and get back on the road. These engines are massive pain to work on and they take so long to remove. You'd be able to make a nice bit of coin parting this one out or selling it as a parts car.
A noble effort. Hopefully parting it out will help recoup some or most of your money, maestro.
Right decision, besides you have one already. would b nice 2 c that engine autopsy.
It might happen in the future.
I love it when you play the violin on the videos I am a professional violinist and do enjoy your videos with or without the fiddling The up side is perhaps you have a parts car for the white Bentley Keep up the good work
Thank you. I'm just glad someone watched to the end on the video to see it LoL. It took a bit of time to do.

Damned... But maybe it would be nice for us (sorry) and good for your knowledge and experience to rebuilt this engine 🥳
I might eventually take it apart in the future.
I can't believe you put the pan back on before finding out where the metal bits came from! My guess is that you are right it was run without oil and just needs new bearings now. I'm not familiar with Bentleys but with most cars you can replace the bearings without removing the whole engine.
On these engine you can't see the rods or the crank without removing the upper oil pan. Even if you made it that far, they do not sell any of the bottom end parts including the bearings so it's a lost cause.
I was thinking the same as cwwiss1 until I saw there wasn’t any crank or rods showing once the lower pan was off. Man! I sure hate it for you along with the time and money already spent.
Multi talented, who would have known?!
Thank you
main reason I’d stay away from Bentleys is , it seems parts are not available , so even if you have a money to fix it, you can’t get the parts , so screw it , I’m just keeping my S class , plenty of parts for it out there ..
You can get parts you just have to pay for them.
I say keep it as a parts car or part it out so that others may live.
You’re doing the right! I’m real sorry, but! You stand to make some good $ on parts! I hope it will be enough money to get out and not lose your ass! Best of luck to you!
Thank you
Diesel turbo swap.
Lets add a wrecker bed too and put it on rotation calls.

@@richardhobbs7107 I think this one is a little too pricey for that one. If I could gain 500K subscribers out of it I would consider, but for now it will probably be a parts car.
CAN u put a new crate motor in there and make it a daily driver?
It's possible but not cost effective.
I would junk it . And put that money in the Chevy wagon.
The wagon is coming along. I hope to have some video soon.
Well looks like a parts car for your other one. Or could do a Rat Rod Bentley project
Are you familiar with the heater core location and the removal process?@4LaneBlacktop
@@glenplowden9433 No I am not but it probably involves removing the dash which would be alot of work.
@4LaneBlacktop ok I had a feeling, thank you Buddy
