“Thomas Müller can’t beat you with his close ball control. He can’t beat you with his pace. And he can’t beat you with his dribbling skills. He just beats you.” -Uli Hoeneß The end
🙏🏻
Can’t wait to see the tactical battle between Pep and Tuchel again in the UCL.
Bayern is going through. "Man City the best team in Europe" my fn ass and Im not even a fan of Bayern.
@@IASP17 Seeing how city has done against Liverpool, real madrid,A. Madrid and PSG in the last 5 years, bayern would be easy work, especially with haaland + Alvarez and de bruyne
@@pamoweiberezi5315 you literally lost to real madrid last season. and we have beaten PSG multiple times. liverpool has beaten city plenty of times, even in the UCL. we have coman, sane, musiala, and muller. we are absolutely not afraid of you. city fans are the last people to be so arrogant.
@@rollsreus3862bro as a fellow bayern fan I would tell you to respect your opponent bro that's the Bavarian way and city has been unreal this year so it's hard to call. Pep was the best manager we had at bayern bro so don't disrespect him
@@pamoweiberezi5315 😂😂😂😂 so funny
My first impression of Tuchel are : We’ve more patience now when in possession especially building up Set pieces threat Better in transition And it’s his first game impressive looking forward to Tuchel Era I’m here for it
Yeah this team reminds me of how PSG played under Tuchel. Super chilled and relaxed on the ball.
Better in transition is basically muller over musiala
Not only that, Bayern actually have players who want to play those risky forward balls into their attackers who unlike the ones we have/had at Chelsea, know how to finish. Without that, it would just be side to side/backwards ball possession. Can't believe we got rid of Tuchel for potter 🙄
It's the farmers league fam wat did u expect...Team in the PL beat him😂
the noticable difference for me is how more confident the players are, especially sane who felt like he was unlocked while Nagglesman's tactics came to fruition multiple times, it held bayern back and it was obvious in this match everyone was all out and willing to drive deep and overload the fullbacks. it's been a long time since i saw bayern that much versatile
Bayern was incredible out of possession, I think in possession they were a standard 4-3-3 with a lone pivot and wide wingers. Being such good and smart players they had the capacity to be flexible with runs. Wonder how Davies is going to do with Tuchel there, I can see having a role close to Theo Hernandez in Milan, freedom to invert or overlap. Watch out City, Bayern might be a rejuvenated beast.
Miss him already. Amazing manager
The fact that Tuchel had 2 days to prepare Bayern for this game is absolutely amazing! I never seen Bayern playing like this before. Okay, it was not the 100% Bayern but still... Amazing! Just let the opponent have the possesion over the ball and force them to make mistakes... Get the ball back, do a quick counter attack, score a goal. I never ever seen Bayern like this. Bayern always was the "Full all out pressure, keep the ball, get the ball back as quick as possible and I will kill you" kind of team but this time... Bayern was the "patient, force the opponent to make mistakes and then punish them!" team... Love to see that! This is the key vs stronger teams. Just force them to make mistakes and then punish it. VERY HARD! If it is 30% or 50% possesion who cares. Goals matters not the statistics!
Mark my words you will be regretting these words in a year's time
I like brute force. No space, no mercy to opponents
Actually, we have seen this "patience" type of Bayern before, exactly 10 years ago under Heynckes, especially in UCL where Bayern are more willing to give up possessions. Granted, Basti and Javi double pivot are better and had more discipline compared to Kimmich-Goretzka. But it's something Tuchel can improve, as we've seen against PSG, Goretzka's defensive workrate are not bad, when he's told to do so rather than cosplaying as second striker.
Tbh tactically tuchel didn't change anything in buildup imo he made changes in their set piece pattern and shape for transitions but that alone is enough for bayern coz they are that good
😂😂. Its the farmers leagues. Look at bayens super team compared to the other poor teams in the league.
As an arsenal fan, i absolutely adore tuchel and i think he's gonna win the champions league. Brilliant man.
As a chelsea fan, I feel the same but i am so sad we sacked him
Gonna get slapped by haaland and Alvarez and de bruyne
As usual he's gonna get sacked in exactly 2 years, with one side of the Bayern fanbase hating him to the core. I call this the Tuchel cycle.
@@thalpha___ LOL so what?? This is a content to analyze his tactics, nothing to do with the sacking or background problems with the owners. Stop trying to spread nonsense under every comment just because you are holding a gudge against him, that's pathetic. PSG & Chelsea's fanbases are not even "hating him to the core", meanwhile Todd Boehly and PSG owner are proven clowns for sacking him
@@ivantmv80 As a city fan, I feel Real will vaporize your team.
4:2 is a very low Result if u looked the game. If Bayern wasnt so bad infront of the goal it would be easily 7 or 8:1 ! Really promising first game
Exactly
and there were 2 offside goals
The set back caused by the unnecessary 1:0 got Dortmund totally out of the game, it couldve been a disaster to them.
Bayern pressing like mad bull. Old Bayern is back 🔥
That’s exactly what Bayern didn’t do.
Danke für die gute Analyse!
I was shocked to see how many corridors of space Dortmund would leave. Those long passes to a free Coman were very nice because he's so fast and dribbly so he can bring the ball down and charge towards the goal in an instant. Also Bellingham looks completely knackered and it looks worrying for him that he's been playing with a knee wrap
Has no one else encountered the long balls from one side to the other from Bayern. The long balls were also the reason why Bayern had less ball possession compared to Dortmund.
I think this is the big picture of Tuchel tactics... passing from side to other side to Split opponent Compactness then kill opponent with long pass to Center area... we see Bayern had lot of chances from through ball in Mid area...
@@fatarsofyan6089 Totally agree. That is also what I saw 👍
Tuchel’s tactics are so fascinating and complex to me. I swear I saw Bayern with a formation back 3, back 4 and back 5 with 2 defensive midfielders at times. Muller and Sane switched positions at times. Quick counter attacking, good in possession, pressing high. It’s really interesting to watch.
Bayern always beat Dortmund. The real battle will be. Pep vs tuchel in the champions league 🔥
these were nagelsmann's tactics Tuchel and kimmich both said in an interview that the tactics were not changed since Tuchel did not want to make a big change
@@paulsmithee9783 exactly brother

vlahovic in this bayern squad would be hella scary
Bro I can see a full analysis of the game, before I can even see the German highlights on KZhead.
Tactical disasterclass from Terzic.
Yeah i mean building up short from behind is just stupid with these players against Bayerns high pressing. Rather just kick it long and pray honestly
@@sqq3985 the thing is that Bayern under JN didn't press as much and as good which is what Dortmund expected from Tuchel too
@@georgex7442 Bayern pressed much more under Nagelsmann.
@@georgex7442 there was a statistic during the game that the time to reconquer the ball was better under Nagelsmann which means they pressed much more. (As far as I remember ~13s vs ~22s)
He expected that Bayern will play as under Nagelsmann. This was not the case and Dortmund could not adapt.
I'm not sure how you can give Tuchel an 8. Bayern were clearly not at their best, and there was nothing impressive about them tactically. Some of the players on the other hand, were fantastic, add that to a bad BVB performance overall and you get a win like this. An OK performance from Tuchel, the best is probably yet to come.
Remember he's new to the team
Actually, Bayern no need to be their best. This is disasterclass from Terzic and Bayern completely exploited them. The match is actually already done in the first half itself
can you pls do one on the napoli vs ac milan game like so he can see
i still don't believe Tuchel made any drastic changes to Bayern because we have seen so many cases teams playing much better from the honey moon effect when a new coach comes whether top teams or mid-tables. We should let the match margin grow larger to establish a solid overview of the ideas Tuchel applies in the Bavarians.
Oh and what a perfect time for the honey moon 😂
Upamecano is a gift from Leipzig, he has been brave to receive ball, dribble past to midfield. While Dortmund brought the best (Ryerson, Sule, Can and more) from rivals but still failed to record a single victory against the two times sextuplets, but to only use old phrases from ancient time to blame Bavarians for their failures over the years😎

Wa want city vs bayern prediction
This was obviously the worst case scenario for Dortmund, and you did a great job highlighting some of the shortcomings of Terzic. He’s an excellent man manager, fantastic at connecting with and motivating his team, but he really lacks the tactical acumen to go head to head with some of the top managers in Europe.
EIN SCHUSS, EIN TOR, DIE BAYERN! FC BAYERN ALLEZ FC BAYERN ALLEZ OOH OH 🎶
In essence he took notes from Arteta
Could’ve been worse for Dortmund really
I´m quite excited to see Bayern with Tuchel against ManCity with Guardiola. But I still don't get it why majority sees ManCity as favorite and first contender to the Champions League title. Just compare the stats, Bayern won all 8 games and dominated Barcelona, Inter Mailand and Paris without conceding a single goal! ManCity plays a good season and Haaland is a beast, but even in the Premier League they're 5 points behind Arsenal... Guardiolas last CL title was in 2011 with Barcelona (in their golden age). ManCity never won the CL. Tuchels last CL title was in 2021 with Chelsea. Bayern won the CL 6 times and the last title was in 2020. I think Guardiola is overrated at this time. And he tends to unnecessarily overcomplicate things, especially in the big CL matches. Yes, he does a fabulous job in the Premier League - but in the last 10 years he reached the CL finale just 1 time and lost it (against Tuchels Chelsea ^^).
Bayern are favourites. They have beaten better teams in the champions league this season.
I've always shared the same sentiment about Guardiola being hella overrated.
Terzic tactics reeks of fear
?
Nagelsmann 😢
I hope mane will be fit for the city game 😎😎🎯🎯 #man city out😂😂
Bayern doesn't stand a chance...this new city requires less shorts on target to grab a goal compared to the previous one that require more shots on target to get a goal. This is what will make a difference this time
Its dortmund being shit, I'll wait for other games to see actual tactics by tuchel
Kimmich is the best player outside the field
Clown never made a video on PSG vs Bayern
Nouhan Zahid
There was a stat in the game that said almost evrything about the difference between Nagelsmann and Tuchel. This stat wss about the avarage ball recovery time. Nagelsmann: 12 sec Tuchel: 23 sec
WTF? 😂 without that big mistake from Kobel it would been a different game. Tuchel was so nervous 😂
Bro where's man city vs Liverpool????
How about u scroll down a bit ? 🤦🏻

Bayern München has a plan....total domination of the champions league. This is the plan....and behind Real Madrid there are already the 2nd of the all-time champions league table... The Bundesliga was just the beginning of what Bayern München is working towards....
BS...Tuchel had 2 training sessions...was Kobels 2 mistakes a strategical masterplan of tuchel? lol ., ridiculous claims
salty
Exactly. Imo Nagelsmann still deserves more credit than Tuchel for this game. I feel pretty sad for him, because he left the team in a pretty good condition, but the management took his chance to celebrate titles away from him.
yea Dortmund looked way more comfortable and dangerous and Bayern barely crossed their own half before Kobel howler
In other words you simply haven't watched the match nor have any knowledge in football.
@@Hentzau. lol fool. Sure absolutely brilliant from Tuchel that Kobel forgot how to behave as a goalie. Tuchel earned a 10 because the Team was til Friday incomplete. Bayern have almost a training session.
