Well, his brand is one of team work, his name but he has had a team with him for quite some time.
Hans always considers himself a Teamplayer.
The last sentences of the video made that even more clear. Always humble. I went to his concerts, on stage, this is the team first, you can feel it. The team vibe is real.

This reminds me of the behind the scenes documentaries for Lord of the Rings. Hours and hours of amazing detail that made you love the movie even more. Dune deserves more of these.

This movie is one of those rare projects where every single person involved has so much love/motivation for it and is producing at their peak. These guys created a masterpiece. The score for this film really stood out from any other movie/show that I've seen.

When Paul summons the worm and it's coming towards him; that sounds exactly like a Saturn V or Space Shuttle right after it's left the tower on lift-off.

I could watch hundreds of hours of dune related stuff
Even the end credits of Dune 2 are monumental because of how the soundtrack hits (“Only I Will Remain”). Watched it three times, and every single time lots of people stayed in their seats until the end of the credits.
The instruments they made were so important to the film, those woodwinds Pedro played were absolutely key to the score. So well done by everyone, Hans has a team that is truly inventive and inspirational.
This is why Hans is one of the best composers still working in cinema today. His enthusiasm is absolutely infectious and just makes you wish you were a part of the team behind this film.
That love theme is peak Hans Zimmer. It's the most Hans Zimmer has ever Hans Zimmered.

Hans created a masterpiece with part 1 and 2. And it gets even better when you know that Hans himself is a big Dune fan. Kiss the Ring perfectly captures the sad ending of the book.
I met the guys that made the wood resonators in Paris, they are the sweatest artists I have ever met. Discussed about music and sound in a way I’ve never intended the thing to be talked that way. This is just joyful to see him on the official making off, what a crazy journey. 😂
Please never stop composing Hans. Denis Villeneuve's Dune 3 and beyond surely await our eyes, ears, and hearts.

I cried twice listening to "Beginnings are such delicate times" and my crying indicates that this song has opened a portal to the higher self.. it's like coming home to ourselves... thank you, Hanz Zimmer.

@@pseudonymousbeing987 Guthrie Govan. Check out The Aristocrats if you wanna see him in more standard guitar action. It's a 3-piece multi-genre instrumental group. Heavy on the jazz and blues tho. The thing that makes him so nuts is that he does almost everything improvised. Like, the songs still have a structure, and there's usually a main melody or 2, but there's also a ton of genius noodling.

Gotta say, this is the first time in my life that I watch this kind stuff from a movie, hadn't done it even with the lord of the rings, and I love the lord of the rings... but as Hans... I don't want to leave arrakis either...
Two remarks. 1) That love theme has a certain Celtic feel to it. It would sound MARVELOUS on the bagpipes. Note that “Caladan” sounds a lot like “Caledonia.” The culture the Atreides embody can trace their lineage back to the Romanized Celts, who were the heirs of the ancient, tragic Homeric myths and the source of the King Arthur legends. 2) Paul’s worm scene feels like watching Laird Hamilton riding one of those giant waves. Superbly done.

This is the featurette I've been waiting for. After a similar excellent one on the sound design for Dune part 1, I was very curious to learn more about the thought processes behind it. I saw the movie in various set-ups (including DTS 5.1 and Atmos) and would be very, very confused if this movie doesn't get the Oscar for Best Sound.

For me it goes straight up in a tie with the gladiator's now we are free composition he did for that movie.. the amount of depth and emotion and i'm sure he does think that he matched that with this movie soundtrack.. he's one of a kind in his mind.

Sand dunes make a deep, spooky trombone like sound themselves. At some moments I think they integrated this sound into their score too.
