      @thomasnelson3449@thomasnelson34494 ай бұрын
    • He wasn't lying, but it's a farcry from an absolute truth. In this context scientific understanding vs poetic abstraction are an opposing dichotomy, a paradox. The T.V. wasn't something to be afraid of as the idea of a T.V. existed in Bjork's mind as put there by the poet. The reality of a TV isn't scary - just the implications of a TV as the poet described. in this sense, "don't let poets lie" means to let truth take away fear.

  • I saw her once in a music store in Manhattan, asking an employee questions about different cds, this was in the mid 1990's and I was totally crazy about her, I didn't want to bother her or anything because she was just out shopping for music, so I ran out of the store, but let me just say, she has got to be the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. The day I saw her, she had some glittery stuff on her cheeks, and her eyes were incredible. But I remember standing just 3 or 4 feet away just browsing music, and then I heard her voice and I looked to my right and she was standing right there. I'll never forget it.
