@@romans6two338 Lol. I agree they have big coyotes up there, but they act like SF sniper wanna be. We shoot coyotes after deer season with shotguns or rifle.
You guys should check out the “Fix” rifle from Q, it might make long range hikes a little lighter. Great shooting

I’m not a tree hugger and I really don’t care what you shoot. So this is just an innocent question. Don’t get all bowed up. What’s the point of killing coyotes?
There are a lot of reasons. We have multiple. We are Ranchers, we calve over 600 head and work for others who calve thousands, it's part of our responsibility to aid in predation and predator control, we also hunt Deer, Elk, Antelope, Grouse, Turkey and Pheasant, Coyotes are the #1 predator of most of the above species. There is no limit on how many Coyotes we can hunt and kill because of their adaptability and resilience. Last but not least we utilize what they have to offer which is their fur. We harvest them and sell their fur that is used to make numerous items.
