With 10 seconds left and the draw to the right of ullmark…Florida loaded up tight like ther was 3 seconds left…that would have been devastating to the 3200 active panther fans…yikes

Seriously though, how good is Carter Verhaeghe? Absolutely incredible awareness on the first two Florida goals as well as the OT goal. He has to be one of the most underrated players in the league.

@ConRad it's very valuable to have a goaltender that can play the puck. That's like having a 3rd D man back there. Just don't be stupid!
Yeah, why the heck do goalies come out of their net to handle the puck? It keeps resulting in absolutely stupid and preventable mistakes like this.
You can play the puck, but the idea is to pass the puck up the boards away from your opponent, not chip it backwards right to them.

@Blair -- Agreed. Hope some hockey fans that don't usually watch Canucks game are getting to hear John and John these playoffs and hearing what a magic combo they are. It's night and day, for me, hearing other announcers call the games. The Johns are unmatched!

@@johanstinson I am aware of that, so you don't need to state the obvious. The fact was, Boston were overwhelming favorites over a non-fancied Panthers, but they can't seem to put them away! And this game was especially important as it was IN Boston. Now they go back to Florida for the next game.

@Conor Cahill I wouldn't worry so much, if Boston can put away the Leafs after they choked a 5-1 lead against them years ago, then I'm sure they can put away the Panthers at some point.
This folks is why the playoffs are unpredictable, mercilessly and Awsome.. great game
It's also why I swore off betting on NHL games years ago. Ever since they took obstruction out of the game in the mid 2000s, back when a team could get a one goal lead and then hook and hold their way to a win, you just can't predict anything. Three goal leads aren't safe. 8th seeds can upset 1st seeds. Home ice advantage doesn't seem to mean anything anymore. I love it.
It's not really unpredictable. The Bruins dominated them in shots. It's quite predictable that Boston is going to win the series, despite Florida winning this game.

I had another word(s) for it when it happened. Actually it was a double f-bomb. Once when Ullmark gave the puck away and another (much louder) when it was in the net.

Please, this win was gifted to the Panthers by the Bruins. Two of their goals are 100% attributable to bad plays by the bruins. The panthers have already lasted longer than they deserve.

These players dont play hard when they should. I saw tgem let down w 1 nin left in 2nd and boom, thats when fla scored. We left guys wide open in slot 15 feet away to shoot at will. Im sorry but imo fla is now in our heads, fla wont lose again at home. This is going 7 at home and i have zero confidence we will beat this team again. All they needed was another spark and i dont think they're going to let this go. I have zero confidence in our play at home and am now expecting one of the biggest chokes in nhl playoff history coming up.

So many lucky bounces for the panthers. The worst one was a bounce that went right over coyle's clear and led directly to a panthers goal
