Especially on the last 2 from Ballistic Machinist. What most people don't know is that as massive as mammoth cave is, there is that much if not ALOT more thats off limits to the public. So its STILL the largest cave in the world. The caves here in the southern part of the state go really far underground too. Most people don't know this either. Some very interesting and very creepy things have been found in these caves. Personally, I would display them, with a small plate, which indicates the caliber, the target it was caught in and the day I found/caught it. Would be a nice eye catcher for visitors. • Scott, seeing the shotgun ammo was cool, insane destruction! Have you seen the “cut shell” looked like a normal target or bird shot shell that was 90% cut through below the pellets. Crazy damage as well as the “dime” rounds. Would be cool to see what a zombie torso would hold up to them vs the “tenderizer” and the brass slug!

    • I use to go with my grandparents to lake Cumberland and I loved it there. Some of my best memories come from that place. Northern part of Kentucky isn't anything like the southern part. It looks like every other boring city but once you get in the south parts you start seeing beauty everywhere. Mtns etc. I too would love to live there when I retire.

  • A flechette is a pointed steel projectile with a vaned tail for stable flight. The name comes from French fléchette, "little arrow" or "dart", and sometimes retains the acute accent in English: fléchette. They have been used as ballistic weapons since *World War I*. Delivery systems and methods of launching flechettes vary, from a single shot, to thousands in a single explosive round.

  • In terms of penetration, we've seen on this channel before that brass solid projectiles don't care what you put in front of them. So I can't say I'm surprised the brass pellet blasted through so well. But in terms of sheer damage potential, the Tenderizer is a nightmare. Goes through 3a armor, expands and deforms in the body and stays there! That's an all-rounder, right there.
