Looks like you had a lot of fun doing the intro. 😄 Fantastic build too. I would like to do something similar, but with the 32-core 7970x which is more in my price range. Looking forward to seeing some CPU+mobo combo discounts before I pull the trigger.
right now I think there are only 2,3 motherboards out there if I'm not mistaken?? :)
Let me tell you, you are on another level compared to all the KZheadrs who make videos on hardware. Top notch quality! Watching your videos is always a pleasure, even if I will never spend €9500 on my next PC. Warm greetings from Genoa, Italy.
Wow, thanks!
@@theTechNoticei love you mf ❤🙂

Simply loved the intro setup ... As for the build ... F#$@*&ng Amazing! Thanks for always being consistent for the creators!
Bravo, the intro brings smiles, way to go.
I like watching peoply build things I can't currently afford. but we'll get there, gotta keep up the grind.
You're the man. Thanks for the work you put in ur videos!
The quality and content is amazing!! I can't ignore your videos when it comes in my youtube feed.
THANK YOU for doing a video on hipefully getting quicksync working with the a380 and an amd main gpu
Nooo way, we also posted a video today about a full-AMD system. Nice job, you're my favorite YT channel!
I loved the intro! was so entertaining
You can get a torque wrench for installing the CPU but the included wrench makes that a lot easier since a decent small torque wrench can be kind of expensive for something you might never use again. You can also get 256gb DDR5 rdimms but they are like 3k+ a pop. Interesting case and nice try working with 2 different GPU's, hopefully that gets supported at some point. Beast of a system, even if I'd slap it in a boring workstation style case myself.
Love this stuff with 2nd you at start :D
Glad you enjoyed!
Well played. Well played. Love the funny stuff.
YOU DID IT! results pretty much as expected, but it's an abomination with potential. can't really blame developers for not supporting this much, as it is uber niche. hopefully they will down the road
So many creator stuff on your channel. Any chance you build a deep learning data science setup?
I've used TP to clean off thermal paste for about 20 years now. It's never had any negative effect. Just have half a working brain and remove any excess lint if some happens to stick around (which hardly ever happens).
There we go!
This is such a nice build, quick question good sir. Would the corsair commander XT hub work with the EKWB EK Loop FPT 120 and 140 fans and the EKWB EK Nucleus Lux D-RGB aio? I am recently bought a set for my H6 build. Im really new to pc building... please help...
your threadripper builds are awesome
Glad you like them!
This intro was pure class!
Excellent, thanks a lot
You are welcome!
Don’t look at the pc behind the curtain! 😂
Very excited For your comparison of this build (or better with 7970X) to the M3 MAX ❤ Wonderful Video!!! I like your kind of review a lot. Well done!!!!!
Thanks a lot!
have you treied the phanteks d30 420mm AIO to cool the threadripper? I am really courios on how good it does it...
For such crazy builds I would definitely use a bigger case.
What I'm building atm (essentially) Working my way up the generations for the fun of it. Praying to Odin Gigaby drops some more TRX50 motherboards. Need that Aorus in my life!
Are you an engineer?
Those cable hiders are a brilliant idea.
Can you briefly explain how you managed to get the lianli fans to be recognized and control the rgb? Are you using icue?
Appreciate the timestamps man
do the pcie 16x slots all individually support bifurcation????
I was thinking to myself "let me check out the links to see if I can afford to somewhat build this..." just the CPU alone cost more then my entire set up lol
I just finished this build myself actually. Azza has beautiful and unique cases...
the best of AMD and the worst of Intel in there😅
@rokiesensei7600
Best option for encoding/decoding certain Intel exclusive formats on a system running amd cpu's. I have heard that QuickTime is kinda...uhhh...funky on those ARC770 GPU's, but it's an option with a 16GB frame buffer as a 2nd GPU.
I use a WX radeon card for encoding and a xtx for gaming
My 3ds Max, V-Ray, Corona, Arnold Renderer would love to run on something like this. 😁
AWESOME!!!
Make sure you are testing with PP24. Added Arc function, stability & speed.
yep, did!
Mate love the very end! God I wish I could even afford half the value of this pc. Would be like a dream come true!
Finally someone watched the end haha!
You need 11 slots on back to support these threadripper boards properly. Case designs need to get much bigger to accomodate more pci slots with larger cards.
The Fractal Define 7 XL has 9 and there are some niche cases meant to work with multi GPU's that would probably work but an unfortunate truth is these boards are designed around blower style GPU's which is why you usually get 2 slot spacing.
@nadtz plus you'd have to add a new motherboard standard to accommodate the 2.5+ slot GPUs. Like, even bigger than XL-ATX, amd those are already rare. What we really need are more AIO variants of these cards (Sapphire, Gigabyte! 🤬🤬🤬), or more exotic cooling.
After watching this video, one thing I now understand is that ignoring Adobe's general unwillingness to better optimize their software, the threadripper, while it may not be the best at these workloads, can do all of them AT ONCE. This is hugely important because I push my i9 13900k, 4070ti workstation at work to the limit with Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender, and After Effects, sometimes with all or most of these open at the same time.
Hello Sir, I have just made a same build as your but it have dual 7900xtx and I'm trying to use AMD MGPU in Adrenalin but that option is not available. Its my first time to use this mother board and MGPU and im so confused. Is there any option in bios i need to turn on before i can use MGPU? thank you sir for reading.
Hello! will that cpu run with 4 x Kingston 96GB ECC Registered DDR5 5600 RAM? Motherboard supports that model RAM
How much time it will take to compile the Unreal 5 project ?
One thing I don't understand is WHY other case manufactures don't have their front I/O on the bottom if they are designed for Desk Top use Like Thermaltake's Tower cases that you have to get up and stand to connect to the I/O. Love the case except for the Top Panel as I would rather have holes for exhaust or for the price they have add a mesh top panel with the case.
im sorry im not really good with pc's but why did you put intel and amd and not the amd and nvidia as gpu's is it a compatibility problem or no?
Did you see what score you get with the auto AI overclocking function in the bios?
Will get to that! :)
Anyone have any other AOI recommendations for this? I have read more than a few non-favorable comments about the Enermax.
Very cool effect at 1:30👌
😇
Does A380 support fast enough AV1 encoding?
I really need your help i watched a lot of your videos and you really helped me and now i have a pc but the problem is all the fans in the case including the cpu cooler have the ARGB cable (3-pins) and the motherboard (asus prime h610m k D4 ) only supports non-ARGB adapter (4-pins) so what should i do (I live in Egypt and pc accessories are not all available here + I can't replace any fan or even the mobo) so please help me🙂 Thanks for your great content ❤️
You need an ARGB Hub/Controller for it. There is no other way around. 4 pin RGB pinout is 12v G R B data lines. Meanwhile ARGB has 3 pinout: 5v, data and ground. It isn't compatible.
@@Azura2910arpg Would the lian li controller that comes with a 3 set do the job?
I would like to see a build of one single brand of components. Maybe msi or asus. I plan to build my own later and wanna know what brand would fit the best my taste.
whats the screen you are using?
Here's me thinking about a 96 core thread ripper build for servers and another 24 core intel gaming build, both full of 8tb ssds, 2* 4090's each PC, have a 80k budget.
enthoo pro 2 server has 11 pcie slots ... you could solve the problem of the bottom pcie slot with that case
I can't find this case for sale anywhere....damn I really want to do a build in this case :(
That case is like a mansion for a Hamster
Haha
Where did you get that PC case
These threadrippers mobos do have the same bios issues as the normal ryzen ones or are they treated differently?
Not sure what you mean...?
@@theTechNotice Usually the mobos for ryzen do have bugs in their bios and issues with ram and all that stuff I've read and have had in my 3950x build, too. I do wonder if this same stuff happen in threadrippers builds
What is this type of case called? how to I search for the same configuration with the motherboard horizontal?
Link in the description.
@@theTechNoticethank you, I saw it, but I can't afford this one - is there a type of case that has the same configuration?
@@theTechNoticeAre they called "cube" cases? - those seem to be the most similar. is there a different type name? edit: nah... these cube cases seem to be mostly microATX... edit, edit: I remember now: I had one about 30 years ago - didn't like it because it was too small. I never found any thing similar that is not too small or too expensive.
how many watts does this build pull? wow!
I am on old HEDT threadripper system,,,,,, that was a mistake from day 1,,,,,, but then again i have never been known for underkilling it 🙂
This would be a good use of the amd W7000 series graphics cards
Too bad it looks like that case isn't available for sale, because it's a pretty sick looking tower/cube.
What the heck Musicians did. How would your video sound without audio/music.???
I use coffee filters to clean. Nice and strong and lint free
Great tip!
Was going to type 1st, but am 2nd. I meed that PC by the way. What's he power draw?
Did you see the CPU test later in the video?
I can finally run 2 chrome tabs with this
That's good
Intel CPU with integrated Intel graphics is required to utilize quick sync on the Intel graphics card according to the Intel site.
Can someone please tell me what desk chair he is sitting in?
kzhead.info/sun/lLGto51ob5qgmo0/bejne.html
I’m thinking the best GPU’s to use would be the 2X RTX ada6000, and 1 single slot RTX ada4000. That would make it a complete content creation powerhouse. Great video, thanks for the great content. You are a great educator, and with a little humour added…bonus.
Now that’d be a dream DAW…
Missed the last part, can you repeat😂😂... "do not ever"....
The End was sudden like you said. (not going to spoil more)
quick sync is awesome.......but the software really needs to catch-up.
I watched a linus video resurrecting a 10 year old 10k pc and made me realize better to scale out not up. My purpose is homelab, home automation, a few professional hosted services. I was wanting to build a top of the line machine but the cost is i am better off building 3 machine vs one. I am not saying threadripper is bad or others dont have purpose for it. Just giving my perspective because most attracted to this cpu and type of build are those that are more hobby / small business.
The skit😂😂
I remember back in the day when we plunked down $10,000 on a Macintosh IIfx. And that was $10,000 in 1990 dollars. According to the inflation calculator, that's $23,500 in 2023 dollars.
yaiks!
@@theTechNotice What's yikes, is if I had sold that Mac back right then and there, even at a loss, and invested that money into Apple Stock instead, and kept it there until 2023... with stock splits and the roaring popularity of the iPad and iPhone.. I would have 50 million in Apple Stock today.... instead of a Mac IIfx buried in the pile of old obsolete computers in the barn. True story. Now all together with me... yikes!
The 7900 series is rather solid. I've got an XT Hellhound. Both, it, and my cpu- just laughs at the games I throw at them. My rig is weak sauce compared to yours though.
bro du trägst einfach gleiche Jogging Hose wie ich bro
Good pc
Does Adobe Premier can give you a choice what GPU will be used? Davinci Resolve can do it, you can choose all cards, and technologies, for every card, as I remember.
Tried Resolve as well, same story.
@@theTechNotice so... Intel is useless 😊
I think that DaVinci Resolve Studio (the one you have to pay for) does simultaneous multi GPU support - not so sure for the free to use version.
@@philipxptalbot You are absolutelly right - only Studio version can utilize ALL GPUs together, Free version can use only 1, that you will choose in the settings.
Can I has 7980x ES?
Dude u needed blender, it scales amazingly on multi nvdia systems. It's actually a GPU driver clash that's made the whole thing slower. But thanks for this video it shows that companies will keep pulling each others legs instead of having universal multivendor-gpu compute drivers😂😂😂
I have to say I waved the Intel flag for many years, all my systems are Intel consumer and HEDT systems. This video has me convinced that Intel is on the ropes, at least in the HEDT market. My next system build will be Threadripper or ThreadripperPro. Your videos are compelling and honest. Thanks again.
You really want two PCI Express Gen 5 drives in here to do it justice. RAID 0… even better. You can make it happen if you use shorter GPU waterblocks and ditch this AIO stuff which also doesn’t do this hardware any justice. Love your channel, man, wasn’t trying to be a critical but would like to see this system really stretch its legs.
im waiting for the watercooled 4x 4090's for the 7995wx 96 core threadripper. 🔥🔥🔥
my dream PC
The buffet plate is 12.50
I guess Adobe chooses ARC instead of RX because it's the first in the list in your system. Probably if you swap them in your PCIs the issue will be resolved.
Actually in my PCIe config the Radeon is first. I think that's how windows labels the GPUs. The iGPU is always before dGPU and I guess they've used it the same way with ARC. 🤔
I have the w790 sage se
No gaming test?
Nope! :)
no gameplay test for that beast? you imprisoned that beast in a cage without testing its capability damn! i feel sorry for that thread ripper.
+ ARC is violent bruh 🤣
lol, someone has to try it :)
I am wondering if someone on this planet will do a test 14900K + RTX4090 + RTX4090 vs Cheapest new Threadrepear + RTX4090 + RTX4090 vs 14900K + RTX4090 for video editting in Premier and Resolve.
What codecs and resolution are you using? For 99.999% of the people, it would be waste of money! :)
@@theTechNotice 6K BRAW 5:1, 4K and 8K CRAW LT, 6K RED RAW. Timeline 4K 30 mostly. My RTX3080 is super weak for that footage and I apply heavy color grading and Fusion custom effects. Working with RTX3080 is an nightmare. So I thinking to buy new build and I do not know if 14900K + 2x4090 is good investment or its better to buy HEDT
bro did some soprano shit
Atrocious. Horrible. Dramatic. Love it.
:)
There's no possible way to use three different cards of different brands and take advantage of all three. The APIs are not the same and even with two cards of the same model and brand if not SLI the APIs will have a problems managing the memory of each card. And even with that, there are algorithms that can not be paralelized with different GPUs, Cores o rFPGA accelerators. The Intel API by default will use the available cores or Intel GPU when possible (no matter if those are AMD cores, the API works) and it depends on the developer to switch completly to the Intel GPU and do not use the cores or use the cores and not the GPU or both and depends on the task too. So there's no way Adobe "will fix this". Actually, 10 years later of the introduction of AVX2 instructions on Intel and AMD processors, finally we can see those features in Premiere 2024. Why? You don't build a software with new features that can only run on "new" machines from 3 years ago. You need to support the older machines.
wtf ending., the very important message is cutted!
Can you build this PC for me and ship it to UA?

Cinebench apparently.
@@Tarbard idk whats a better use but i feel like it could be used better
@@TorinBell I see people talking about using threadripper for making machine learning/AI workstations but GPUs are much faster than CPU for that kind of thing so I am not sure. I would love to see a video that makes full & meaningful use of all those cores.
