    • @TheBradge Amazing, is there a video of that ? It went downhill very quickly, in 2013 he could barely play anymore. I remember seeing a video of a concert in Russia and really wasn't sure it was a good idea to get tickets for his concert in Paris in May 2013...and then it got cancelled so that took care of the problem.

  • Never been a big fan of Stpringsteen's music (with some exceptions) but it says a lot about him how much he enjoys being on stage with a legend like Chuck Berry, being out of focus for a moment allowing him to admire the other and watching the audience reacting. A great guy!

I had that honor, his last concert in germany he did in the capitol, my birth-town, Berlin......... it was mindblowing!! 🤯 The absolute best of the best concerts I had ever seen...... RIP Mr Berry, a legend, a pioneer, an inspiration! -> what made this concert so unique and god damned perfect, was the opening band: "Fats Domino" ‼️‼️‼️ ... there he was... sitting at the piano, fingers full of rings. A huge band of about 12 musicians.......to much for my unexperienced 16 years old mind (50 now!)......... 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯...... 😂😂😂a perfect day! A lifetime experience, I can tell you that

    • @@karenstrycharz1499 if you can find it Bruce tells a very interesting story about how they were all anxious because they were at the venue it was packed and there was no sign of Chuck. they have not met with him or rehearsed with him. all of a sudden he walks in at the very last minute before the show is scheduled to start it's nothing but a guitar. As he's plugging it in Bruce asked him so what's the plan? What are we going to play?Chuck says "well we're going to play some Chuck Berry songs. One Two Three..."

    • Bruce opened and played with Chuck way back in 1973. This performance sadly, Bruce has said was one of his least favorite. Direct quote from both Bruce and Little Steven, they didn't want to be there. Chuck and Jerry Lee fought backstage about who would play first. Chuck kept trying to change keys in the song, that's why Bruce was studying him so much. Still, love both Bruce and Chuck. Rock wouldn't be the same without either.

  • I happen to be lucky enough to have attended this concert. It's where every Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Concert should be; Cleveland, Ohio. In this case, this was held at the old Cleveland Municipal Stadium. The Boss and Chuck Berry brought the house down.
