  • It feels like they were planting new trees along the bank of that river/lake. They dug too deep on one soft spot and instead of trying to fix that leak with more dirt and with bamboo or whatever they had, one of them stomped to speed it up and several of them throw the stuff they were working on previously into raging flow in the end. Great workers. I'm surprised no one was taken with the ground they stood on.

  • I have read a story in my childhood. There was such earthen dam, oneday it is flooded and the villagers came to know that the damn got a small hole but they knew it would be greater if they do not fix it before the time. People rush to the dam and started to deposit soil against the wall bringing from surrounding, by the time they feel it is done, the soil was washed away because the lickeage did not stop inside it. Seeing this a young boy goes and trap the small hole with his thumb and urge the people to deposit soil and mud quickly. People saw it is fixed and they started cheering uo but by the time people realised it was late for the young man who was trapped inside by the deposited soil.

I have read it, it is belongs to the novel of american writer Mary Mapes Modge "Sliver skates: A story of life of holland". There in story a dutch boy plung the hole with his finger whole cold night to safe his region from sea floods. Here is the opposite of story. 😃😃😃

  • I think this was intentional. The flooded area reached equilibrium with the water source pretty quickly, indicating it was contained, as in a pool. No one looks concerned because they wanted to widen the lake or divert the river, whatever the body of water is. Or am I missing something?

    • Typically this is done to irrigate. They have water in a holding pool, then flood it down to irrigate, then flood down to next level etc.

    • They're artificially made by cutting land deep and are filled naturally by rain, used for religious and fish business practices in India. Yes the bank was manmade with primitive knowledge. Wasn't a good build as probably huge rainfall made it to break

  • The breach could easily have been prevented at the beginning by the villagers themselves. Instead, the bums just hang around taking videos . Later they will complain and demand flood relief of millions from the Govt and expect that some agency from outside should come and fix the breach. Those days all these simple irrigation structures used to be maintained well by local people themselves. I have seen similar things at my place. Villagers are no longer taking any responsibility

  • Being a rice farmer, seems to me they purposely broke the land bank to allow water in to what looks like a reservoir dam. Once the water has plained out, they will most likely use the leaf matting that they are standing on and fill the earth bank back in..

  • I love the way the inflowing water at the top is a totally smooth surface the whole time. It is moving but there isn't a ripple, just at first a pure cream changing to brushed green aluminum surface gleaming before it tumbles down into mud. I am really confused about those tools? structures? nets? that are long reeds woven together but mostly open along their length. At first I thought they might be fish nets, but discarded that. Then, I saw they are all implanted in the top of the dike like a line of torches. Can someone tell me what they are? Its driving me crazy.

    • I think the smoothness of the water is considered a phenomenon called laminar flow. I may be wrong , but laminar flow is cool.

    • Meu avô morreu Minha mãe entro em depressão, bebia sem parar, fumava cigarro todo dia, não se alimentava, meu pai trabalha como caminhoneiro e fica fora por 2 dias as vezes, fica só nos 3 eu, meu irmão de 7 anos, e minha mae Eu tinha minha responsabilidade de cuidar da minha mãe e do meu irmao mais novo Eu mandava minha mãe se alimentar e tomar banho, mas ela estava agindo como se fosse uma criança eu percebi com 10 anos que ela parecia que era uma pessoa muito mais nova que eu pelas atitudes dela Várias vezes ela perdia a memória não sabia quem eu, quem era que meu irmão, onde elas estáva e ficava falando eu preciso ir na feira buscar meu pai na feira Aí eu sempre tinha que relembra que o pai dela não estava mais vivo etc... Desmaiava todo dia batia com a cabeça no chão Fazia uma bagunça com as coisas do meu avô eu tinha que arrumar depois Ela sempre dizia que niguem gostava dela Que ela iria se fosse preciso elevar um tiro por mim e por meu irmão E que não precisava chorar se ela partisse com o tiro Até que um dia eu e meu irmão estava assistindo televisão com ela deitados em um cochao E ela começou a tremer e espumar pela boca eu tinha 10 anos falei com meu irmão fica com ela que vou buscar ajuda Como morava no interior tinha estrada de terra eu descalço corri sobre pedras quentes pensando é pela minha mãe a dor eu nem sentia corri 200 metro até a casa mais próxima é pedi pra eles levarem ela para o hospital E eles recusaram falaram que ia precisar do carro então eu voutei correndo pra casa E milagrosamente ela tava melhor, até que meu pai chego e falei pra ele que ela não tava bem e precisava de um hospital Ela me fez prometer que numca iria beber e nem fumar Ela fico internada por uns meses Aí um certo dia meu pai chego cedo em casa eu suspeitei achei muito estranho Aí ele olhou pra mim e disse tenho uma péssima notícia pra te contar Nessa hora eu falei não precisa falar eu já entendi Olhei pra baixo durante 5 segundo e pensei foi o melhor pra ela Não chorei uma gota de lágrima aconteceu muitas coisas ainda mas bulling na escola Já tava desistindo de tudo já como você não sentia mais nada não tive pensamentos suicidas como subir, no não sei como chama, no corrimão de uma ponte, eu subi na ponta e falei pro meu irmão vou atravesse essa ponte inteira aki em cima (minha mãe já tinha falado que tinha feito isso naquela ponte e a ponte era alta e era cheio de pedras lá em baixo chutando ela tinha uns 7 metros de altura Meu irmão falo você tá maluco dece da i agora Até que um dia uma menina me chamo de psicopata foi aí que minha mente abril, eu falei não oque eu estou me tornando, não tá errado não é isso que eu quero, eu vou me tornar o melhor não é meu passado que vai me derruba, eu vou ser o melhor Não gosto de ver niguem triste porque eu entendo come é Uma vez em uma uma gincana fingi que perdi pra uma menina, na frente da escola inteira era uma corrida e cheguei 2 segundo depois dela Fui muito zoado por perde pra uma menina que era mais nova que eu Todos falaram COMO RODRIGO QUE VOCÊ PERDEU eu falei não sei ela era mais rapida Você tinha que ver o sorriso dela quando ela ganho valeu cada zoada que levei Aí qui estou quase 10 anos depois do ocorrido Hoje tenho 19 anos

    • @@rodrigorzalves7638 , muito triste sua história de vida, mas não devemos nos deixar abater nunca diante dos obstáculos, A VIDA É MARAVILHOSA ! ! ! Viva cada segundo como se gosse o último, eu não tenho depressão não, apenas estou num momento de luto, meu pai tinha 91 anos e lutou pela vida como um guerreiro nesses ultimos dias, mas Deus quis ele do outro lado , era a hora dele. Mas eu sou muito medrosa diante de coisaa que poem a minha vida em risco kkk talvez seja porque eu gosto muito da vida eu não me arrisco por nada. Seja feliz sempre, mesmo nos momentos difíceis, pois são esses que encontramos a força necessária para prosseguir.

  • Also...I've just seen a tiny trickle wash away 3-5ft of this oh so very stable mudbank...but I'm going to stand on the edge filming..cos the water is flowing way faster now so it wont wash away the mud really quickly and I get washed away too!!

They were people made a little canal connecting to the other, they notice that the water flow slowly, they were bored of waiting even the other man stamp his feet that made the water more aggressive and the soil to give up. The water won and all the people were very happy.. They TALK together to go home but they found nothing, the house was eaten by the water And they live happily ever after,.
