1:09:40 I witnessed this at Dimash’s solo concert in NY in 2019. My husband and I were seated waiting for the concert to start when I noticed a lady with long dark hair clutching a bouquet of flowers making her way through the stands. Recognizing her, I giddily turned to my husband & blurted, “That’s Dimash’s Mom” then I yelled, “Hello, Sveta” while waving at her. Then everyone started to get up out of their seats and rushed towards Sveta to take pictures. Sveta gladly took photos with every eager Dimash fan.
Dimash is such a special human being. He is unique!! What a joy to have coincided with him in his passage on planet Earth. 💐💐💐💐💐💐💐
Dimash is so genuine and likeable. In most of these interviews he is half playful, half witty, but always gives a thoughtful answer. He is never arrogant, you can see he is really paying attention and gives the answers of what he really thinks, not just fans service.

30:30 You got it right Johnny! and Richard concurs! Dimash sound s like an old soul. When I was first introduced to Dimash through a suggested video (SOS), I searched KZhead to learn all I could about Dimash. I watched what seemed like every clip available (which was scant). I determined that he is an old soul (not your typical 22-year-old Western kid) who cares for what is important. In his interviews, what comes across clearly are his: love and respect for his parents, gratefulness to his teachers and mentors, patriotic zeal, and most importantly his devotion to his craft- music.
I think also, it seems that people who know a little bit about music, who have had training, even in classical instruments, besides vocal, then they realize all that Dimash is doing, and how difficult These things Dimash does truly are, even though Dimash does these techniques, these textures, these ranges and makes them look too easy and without any effort, and so the masses do not, and mostly can not appreciate the mastery that is Dimash!😊

No Singer was not his first competition. Dimash has been competing in competitions since he was 6, when he won a national piano competition in Kazakhstan there is a video of the party afterwards with him playing. I am Singer (re-named Singer from this season) was a Chinese reality show with professional singers at the top of their game. Dimash was already very famous throughout Kazakhstan and central Asia. He entered Singer as a wildcard, they thought he would be gone by round three. He managed to not only stay 14 weeks until the very end, but he came 2nd. He was the only contestant of non Chinese ethnicity. The contest was won by Sandy Lam a Chinese singer in her 50s. I believe they were the youngest, (Dimash at 22) and oldest singers in the show. He gained a massive audience and many fans, his social media account on Weibo has 600 million hits the morning after the first show was aired on Chinese TV. Then it was released on KZhead catapulting him to fame around the world. His Budapest and Istanbul concerts, are his 27th and 28th solo concerts to date and the 6th and 7th in the Stranger tour ❤

Professionally, he reminds me of Tom Brady and how he got to be one of the best in the world of sports. How he takes care of his craft--physically and mentally, to stay at the top of his game through practice and the constant strive to just keep getting better and better. Dimash understands the veracity of professional singing and all that encompasses the art of vocal mastery. He is so in tune with his ability that it's such a wonder to hear him describe how much he practices and takes control of every aspect that is required to maintain such a level of mastery.
