you shouldn’t do this because you get a reward for infecting all ant queens AT ONCE, but you can ONLY infect the black ant queen from going into new game plus 1 + because that’s the only games that will spawn the infected sandwich for her, and for the fire ant queen it’s new game plus 2 + because those are the only games that will spawn the recipe for the infected sandwich for the fire ant queen, you did say this, but then it would be extra work to do this since you would get the infected red ant queen and then have to end up doing it again later on just so you can get the rewards for all of them being infected

Glad i didn't mess up then. In first playthrough I killed them for armor. In ng+ I befri3nd3d 2 of the 3 and worried I messed up when I got the notification for this video
@@retronimus yes because that’s when you can actually unlock the recipes to infect all of them
If your goal is to unlock everything as fast as possible, I suggest this route; - Fresh game friend them, - ng+1 poison all of them, - ng+2 infect all them You can't infect fire ant queen till ng+2 and all 3 queens need to be infected on same playthrough in order to get all rewards. Edit* Infecting the first queen unlocks the Sausager, Killbasa, Glowbasa Link, and more efficent recipes for the Bratburst, Splatburst, and Healbasa. -Infecting the second queen will unlock the Glowbasa Wristband. (Gives 2 passive buffs) -Infecting the third and final queen will unlock the Glowbasa Necklace. (Gives 3 passive buffs)
Max level passive? What is that, you mean friendly Ness? That's dien by just giving them their treat they like no, each to their own, the infected set especially shield is way better then anything you get from ant queen parts

They should make a infected ant club and make it's perks like the pinch wacker but explosive
So can I ask, yes I've noticed the lack of infected ants in plauground and that even with unlocked recipe using a custom settings that infected ants don't appear unless you infect a queen before GN+, is this normal or will there be a patch afterwards allowing the infected ants to be apart of plauground, just thought of it there awhile back today, another thing is how tough do the bugs get, because i am quite lazy and casual in the base game so I usually put the health scaler down low to make things more efficient when grinding for items (and the try and get into NG+1 as fast as possible)
Imo you should friend, then infect, and repeat or kill if you dont want to deal with the infected ants, the mutation is too strong to not have in ng+. from what i have seen infected ants seems to be neutral towards you with the mutation and if they are not the other ones are so its nowear near as bad

The Black Ox armor would be good with the spear because it decreases charge time
Getting antbasasdor first helps a ton with new game+ ants. Also you would probably want the new game+ loot behind the ant queens, instead of just regular loot. I would befriend all 3 in the first playthrough and then infect as many as you can until you get all off the recipies.
I agree. No way am I starting new game plus without being able to basically be immune to ants.
It wasn't too bad. Killed all 3 first way through for armor. In ng+ so far I ziplines straight to the fire ant nest and befriended her. Then ran away from the fire ants and went to red ant nest and befriended her now that I had antbassidor 1 protecting me from red ants. Now it's level 2 and black ants don't attack me so after I make the cookie treat I'm feeding the black ant queen. I'll try infecting them next go around

How to get the new 100%
In my run, i forgot to do anything with the ant queens in the base game. So I friended them in new game plus and I plan to infect them in +2 then friend the infected in +3
Made a back up to see how i would go i really need it

Okay, I REALLY tried to go into this new update as spoiler-free as possible, but seeing "Don't make this mistake" really got me curious. This is definitely something good to know though, thanks Jade! Also, afaik, Fungnir's name is a play on Odin's spear Gungnir, which could always strike its target no matter the skill of the wielder. Pronounced similarly to Mjölnir, Thor's hammer, where the nir sounds like "near."
If you poison a queen will she respawn?

Yes it does, and you keep all your items as well. It's just a slightly harder game mode that gets even harder the more times you enter the NG+

I am here to report back that 100% achievement is blocked by the baby ants. I can’t get the red ant baby anymore because infection. I am stuck at 99% for now

I’m not sure if someone asked this before me but I need to know should I befriend them for the mutation and then make them infected because I do want infected ant queens for new stuff but this whole update is so new to me it’s like my first time playing which was around when the wasp queen was added with the infected broodmother (but I do need an answer on what I should do atlest and I play on checking back on the comments by tomorrow since it will take a little for me to get a reply)
It's up to you, yes you will have the mutation to keep ants away, but it will mean you have to fight infected ones as they don't count and am not sure about infused ones on a much harder new gane plus world

Do not do this at all it will screw you over in the long run if you are trying to get 100% because now I need to kill the IBM in new game plus 2 thanks a lot, never listening to anyone on youtube ever again 🖕
What stopped you killing her in normal game, you can fight her as soon as you plug the haze, sounds like it's you not knowing basics
@@JadePGCrafted Well during that time the IBM was not needed for 100% and since I need the baby ants creature card I couldn't get it because I killed the red ant queen before I went into NG+ 1 and had to go to ng+ 2 to get the baby red ant, Then by the time I got the ng+ 2 they updated the 100% requirements so I needed to kill the IBM on ng+2.
@@lolojojo436 IBM was ALWAYS needed for 100%, since she was added back in May of LAST YEAR

@@lolojojo436 Thats... not true... you can look at the wiki and see that killing the infected broodmother has been a requirement for 100% ever since she released. You can see videos where the hint is "Kill the Infected Broodmother". I myself have completed the game 100% on many saves before 1.4 and I know that you need to kill the infected broodmother for 100%
