Or the German one:
www.amazon.de/dp/B002EWGZ60/
These DVDs are Region 2, so only can be played in European DVD players. If you live outside Europe you can play these DVDs getting a Region-Free DVD player, or trying making yours into Region-Free or Multi-Region:
www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks
Or installing a program like "AnyDVD" on your PC to allow you to play any region DVD on it:
www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html
Enjoy!

  • Damn I remember watching this as a child. It’s quite sentimental to see it again. There is an unusual change coming tot my life later this year and I’m processing my entire childhood. It also reminds me of getting older. Thanks for uploading this. Whoever reads this, always remember, you are deeply loved.

    • err501 that argument is a logical fallacy. In fact it virtually has no meaning. There are educational animations at all points in time where applicable. It seems like you are attacking current animation. All it takes is the will and curiosity to seek it out. In fact if you love this show then you will definitely love a currently airing show called 'Cells at Work.' It is an excellent anime.

  • This is more accurate than Cells At Work. In the anime, the red blood cells are carrying food baskets, representing nutrients when they are supposed to carry carbon dioxide and oxygen as the plasma carries the nutrients. Adding to that, the anime showed the platelets staying in the body, rather than fusing with the reds in that net since that is how clots are made.

    • That being said though, there is one thing about neutrophils that both shows didn't get the memo about In Cells At Work, Neutrophil is pretty friendly to other cells, especially Red Blood Cell, in Once Upon A Time... Life, the neutrophils tried their best to not cause collateral damage, but in real life, neutrophils are so careless in their attacks, that they're causing real damage to your own cells. On top of that, neutrophils explode themselves to cast wide toxic nets made of their own DNA, spiked with deadly chemicals that trap and kill invaders. Although this effectively kills any germs unlucky enough to get trapped in the nets, and plug any breaches in the epithelial wall, it also causes collateral damage to tissues

  • My only complaint is that they got the red blood cell colors backwards, the ones with oxygen turn bright red, then they get less red as they lose it, not the other way around.

    @xavier84623@xavier846235 жыл бұрын
    • It doesn't look to me than the RBC with CO2 are red bright, more like dark red (as in reality is). But I kinda agree than when they are with oxygen the red isn't bright enough, it should have been like the platelets red or so. Maybe they thought there wasn't enough contrast in that case. Best!
