Robbie checks out this super nice Toyota JZX100 Mark ii (Mark 2). The motor is actually from the owner's old JZX90 and was installed in this JZX100 Tourer S Model chassis with a full body kit from BN Sports.
The JZX100 Mark II replaced the JZX90 Mark II, along with the Chaser and Cresta. Japanese drifters love the tight chassis, the 6 cylinder engine, and practicality of the JZX chassis. The JZX's rear wheel drive layout also made it one of Japan's most popular drift platforms. The Tourer V was the sporty model with updated suspension and a more rigid body with a, well known, 1JZ-GTE engine. #Drift #Drifting #Toyota #MarkII #Mark2 #JZX100 #1JZ #1JZGTE

  • It's nice seeing a Japanese build that has a welded and not a bolt in cage for once lol

  • Hey robbie I just looked you up. You're from okinawa? Do you remember the drift events they did on futenma airbase back in the day? I saw drifting the first time there in the late 90s in the second grade!

    • for real though, It would be super neat if they put in the 90/100 series and just used the body kit section to let you choose if you want it to look like a Mark 2, Chaser, or Cresta

  • RobbieSan you Da Man!!! Never paid much attention to the whole import/drift scene despite growing up in NorCal. Ever since this whole CoVID thing though I've been full-on and learning as much as I can. Moving to Okayama and even picked up a couple vehicles with Andy in Ebisu. Digging all the technical drift info. in Japanese really helpful. Where is your shop located? Would like to stop by if I'm in the area- Much respect!
