I saw the clip with the woman driving on the sidewalk on another channel. She was ordered to pay over $500 in fines plus court costs. She was doing this because she did not want to wait for the school bus. Another thing that the judge ordered her to do is for one week she had to wear a sandwich board advertising that she drives on sidewalks to avoid school buses.

1:33 I can vouch for how effective this method is, I used to take the bus to work every day and every day when I came home in the morning I was often neerly run over by drivers while crossing the street at the lights (yes I had the green) to make matters worse this always happened at the same intersection and was just 200 yards from a public school, they stopped when they saw me holding a heavy hard item as if to throw it through their windshield if they even came close to me... Never make a pedestrian who has the green light do a pirouette to avoid being plastered all over the hood of your vehicle... "WE WILL MAKE YOU REGRET IT!"

1:33 I can vouch for how effective this method is, I used to take the bus to work every day and every day when I came home in the morning I was often neerly run over by drivers while crossing the street at the lights (yes I had the green) to make matters worse this always happened at the same intersection and was just 200 yards from a public school, they stopped when they saw me holding a heavy hard item as if to throw it through their windshield if they even came close to me... Never make a pedestrian who has the green light do a pirouette to avoid being plastered all over the hood of your vehicle... "WE WILL MAKE YOU REGRET IT!"
Its like when you stood in the street to manually change the points of the tramway. Some people didn't notice or didn't care, until you raised the tool you used for this (basically a metal bar with a pointy end and a handle in the other) when they were inches from you.
Same with all the drivers who park on sidewalks and bike lanes- YOU WILL REGRET IT, pushed past a sports car that was parked in a bike lane the other day, there wasn't much space so my bars and pedals unfortunately may have made some contact on the way past!
Damaging somebodys vehicle is not "making somebody regret it", it's a crime. Simple as that. And should be punished for it if you do damage it.
