If you allow a seed of bitterness, envy, or unforgiveness to grow in your heart, you are silencing God's voice in your life. Without God's presence, we cannot know the Lord's comfort and strength. In this sermon, David Wilkerson examines the lives of King Saul and David to show what is necessary for believers to encourage and strengthen ourselves in the Lord. King Saul had once been anointed by God, but he indulged sin that closed him off from spiritual encouragement. By contrast, David constantly turned back to God so that his heart was always open to receive the Lord's resources.

Heavenly Father our sovereign God we repent again this morning of all our sins and the sins of our ancestors. Lord forgive us as we repent this day because we seek a deeper understanding of who You are and Your will for our lives. I pray for this person this morning and place them at Your throne of grace and mercy. Your word says that we are set free when Your sin the Lord Jesus Christ set us free. I pray that this persons will accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour this moment. Lord You said in Your word that when we seek you we will find You if we seek You with all our hearts. Soften the heart of this person and help them to seek you wholeheartedly. You word says what we bind on earth You will bound in heaven and what we loose in earth You will loose in heaven. Abba our Father we bind the different spirts of jealousy envy and whatever other demons that possess this person and I ask that You loose them from the bonds of these different spirits that are not of You. I pray for deliverance in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and healing of the mind in Jesus precious name. Just as You have forgiven us so we forgive and forgiveness releases us from bitterness and envy and jealousy. What’s meant for others is not for us as You have a different will for each of us. We’re like a body with hands feet heat etc and so we have different members in the body of Christ as well..whatever your will if please fulfil it in this person and grant them a teachable spirit to accept Your teachings in your word. In Jesus Christ name amen
One month later... You must be on fire for the Lord, completely transformed by the Word and the Holy Ghost Spirit! Last night i also confessed these sins and Father spoke to me. Here's a beautiful verse for you, "O, Named-the- House-of-Jacob, Is the Spirit of the LORD straightened? These His doings? Do not My Words do good to him that walketh uprightly?" Micah 2:7. Jesus there for you all the Way Home.❤
I as well. When people just say forgive.. the pain is so overwhelming that you almost feel hypocritical if you get before certain people and act like everything's fine. Sometimes I really don't know what forgiveness is for what it looks like.

I was being bullied by my boss. I cried out to my Lord and he really did hear me. Now my boss is so nice to me and we get along great. Our Lord is a miracle worker!!! Praise God!!!!

I’m going through the a similar experience. I’m glad your boss changed. It’s not my boss, but a coworker. My boss doesn’t see it because the coworker is a manipulator and cunning. She does it when my boss is away. She’s been there 14 years and I’ve only been there 9 months. I need a job and I hate that I let it bother me. I just want to work in a friendly atmosphere. I don’t need to be besties, but I want to work with compassionate and caring people.
Keep praying. My boss changed after 4 years of bullying.

This. He never ever leaves us or forsakes us. We can put 'distance' between Him and ourselves, but He doesn't leave, and He is always drawing us back to Himself to continue redeeming us.
He can be ignored, He can be grieved, He can be quenched...but He stays with us forever, ready to lead us back to Truth when we come to the end of ourselves... Thank you, Father, for providing this incredible Grace Gift through the sacrifice of our Precious Jesus ❤

It is a constant work of the heart. Forgiveness delivers you but it can also mean distance. It does not mean reconciling with an abuser but keeping goodwill. Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life (Proverbs 4:23).
I confess my anger, envy, resentment and bitterness. I've been misaligned, slandered, and misunderstood and need to forgive those against me at work. This sin in my life ends today. I can't carry this and walk with Jesus. I know it's the spiritual battle I'm fighting in heavenly places. I accept God's forgiveness and ask God to remove my pain, fear, and anger and restore my peace, and joy. Thank you Jesus for what you did on our behalf to give us access to this divine deliverance. I ask I am able to walk in this humility and send the holy Spirit and break the chain that binds my soul. God sever these works of the devil over me, for sin shall not have dominion over your children. Thank you for restoring my power in Christ, and for setting me free right now, in Jesus name! Amen. Pastor Wilkerson is absolutely correct. I experienced this in my life. I was Spirit-baptized at 20. I got married and my husband died. I began sinning and then I was possessed by an evil spirit. It was 18 years later that God delivered me. It was nothing but the Grace and the Love of Jesus that delivered me and I received the Holy Spirit again.
When the bitter of death is at the door O Lord I turn to you. For even tho all was loss in my eyes you have not forsaken me for your love is everlasting. In my brokenness you lift me up and pulled me out of the grip of the devil. O GOD my Lord bring me to everlasting glory in the name of the LORD Jesus Christ for you complete me. AMEN. When all seem hopeless turn to the Lord and he will pull you through all trial and temptation, I myself am a witness. Glory be to GOD.

God gave me a heart to give and recently a brother who I had helped let me down and anger and thoughts of revenge came in and I have lost my joy!! Yes there is a righteous anger but make sure you don’t get bitter and anger in your heart. We have to forgive if we want our Heavenly Father ti forgive us
Be angry but do not sin don't let the sun go down on your anger or give place to the devil. Ephesians 4:26
Run to Jesus and ask him to set you free. Sounds like you are in a spiritual warfare. Your flesh can't let go and your spirit says it must not grow. There is a battle between the flesh and the spirit. The Bible says to be angry and sin not. I want to share with you that you are having a battle of the mind. I talked to Jesus and I told him I don't want this bitterness there, and I can't make it go away. I kept asking Jesus to please set me free. You through me can help me to forgive. I kept praying and praying and getting alone by myself with God. Almost a year of talking to my Lord Jesus saying only you can set me free. I kept praying and asking Jesus to please set me free. This is key 🔑 We are weak but he is strong. We cannot shake anything. We cannot save ourself. Only Jesus can give us the Victory! This is still heart-touching to me. Almost a year of praying, I was outside in my yard and quickly and suddenly Jesus came unexpectedly. It was gone, the bitterness and the hurt that was trying to destroy me. It was gone! I knew it was Jesus who set free. The Lord came and gave me joy and peace. Keep calling upon Jesus to set you free. Continue in prayer. Praise Him. Worship Him. Give Him honor and glory due unto His Name. Continue reading His Word! Keep praying until Jesus comes and sets you free. This battle you will win because Jesus will give you the Victory! Keep your eyes on Jesus! Jesus our only hope and salvation! Jesus will always set us free because we are His! Praise the Lord Jesus! JESUS IS WORTHY TO BE PRAISED!
@@deannalindsey7888this was an answer to prayer. I have questioned and questioned how I can just forgive people when the memories are so strong and real as I feel like I'm faking it. You answered me. I've always said I can't do it. You're right. Even though the feelings and the thoughts are there, the Lord is the only one that can take it away. I can jumble and do all kinds of trying to control my thoughts and replacing them with scripture and reading books on the battlefield of the mind and on and on and on but it's not going to remove the memories. They're the ones that cause the continuous unforgiveness. Please pray that I can get on my knees and continue to cry out to God as you did. The flesh is so strong.

I know he is correct about letting sin fester in your heart, it grows hate. Disobedience to God made way for the devil to enter in to Saul. I didn’t believe this when I was young and foolish. Even as a your girl I was taught the word of God. I decided to be disobedient and stray. I tell you the truth, the spirit that I allowed to enter me because of my disobedience there are no words. It truly brings MADNESS. I just pray for pity from the Lord.
