    • Did you know that there is, or was anyway, a large community of Madeirans in the South American country of Guyana? Back in the 19th century there was an influx of thousands to the British colony of British Guiana to work as indentured workers after slavery was abolished there in the 1830's, smaller amounts also went to Trinidad and Tobago and even some to Jamaica

    • @@MrManfly you would need to fly to Lisbon or UK than direct flight to Madeira. There is a new flight now available just recent from New York to Madeira but its pricey ! Good luck and you will not regret going
