But let’s be real - you gotta have respect for somebody who knows how they can win and just does it- and if that involves being elusive and throwing a couple of punches that land, without getting hit in return… well that’s a legitimate style. Either way you can’t run your mouth if you can’t deliver… and that’s why everyone is rolling their eyes at Bill and Devin Haney right now…

Nah. What has Haney done in every fight? He’s simply out distanced opponents and used his jab…..he can do that because he’s faster and bigger than those guys. He hasn’t been getting that much better. This is EXACTLY why when the Haney fans said Teo ducked him I knew they were in for a rude awakening. Teo didn’t duck him Haney didn’t want to fight Teo. Guys like Teo and Ryan as well as Tank present a problem Haney has never faced and that is superior natural talent. They’re all just as fast but MUCH more explosive and bigger punchers.

I think the Haneys had no idea how fast that left hook was. Maybe Devin's plan was to move away, or slip that left-hook, but it was there so fast that he did not have a chance to move away. This is the reason that I think Ryan beats Shakur, because Shakur is hard to hit, but at the speed those Ryan Garcia's punches come in, even Shakur will underestimate how quick they're at his face before he has a chance to move out of the way.
Ryan Teo and Tank will all light Shakur up. Well maybe he beats Teo running around until Teo learns to cut off the ring and stop pop shotting but Teo isn’t a bigger name than Ryan and Tank. You can’t run from the big name guys the judges won’t be in your favor. All 3 of those guys are som much more explosive than anyone Shakurs faced It would be an easy night. Hell Devin can beat Shakur if he goes back to his boring Jab and out style.

If the champ is all he claims to be, he will stop, out box or survive Ryan. However, if that champion has a suspect chin, poor conditioning or weak mental he is in for an epic beating. This is true anywhere from catch weight 143 up to 154. People in this era are all about, race, politics, and moist feelings and none of those are currency in the squared circle where heart, skills, power and speed are the currency.
