  • As the oldest child in our family, the line "I'm Jisoo, I'm okay." Just hits differently to me. Even when you're scared, tired, sad or anything else, you try to convince yourself that you are okay, so that no one will have to worry about you. You try to put on that strong act even when you are really already scared...

She was scared, I get that, but she could have easily said that as well and depended a lot more on her members, but she didn't because she didn't want them to worry. I mean, Jisoo said it herself that she doesn't cry in front of the members, the same goes to me in front of my family. We keep a strong front to not worry them even though it's hard and scary to live life, especially since it can get lonely at times. Just wanted to say my part of the story. I'm sorry if I got too serious over something she said quite lightly. I remember writing that comment when I was having a hard time myself.

    • @@grAvYGraVyy I'm so sorry, I get how you feel 100%, I'm also in that part of my life and I know how hard it is to have to act like your okay, but sometimes you just need to let it out and tell someone how you're feeling, if I were your family, I'd rather be worried than to have you bottle up your emotions and go through the struggle and stress by yourself. Mental health is so much more important than feelings, and to think that you can't tell anyone how you're feeling bc they'll be worried, it feels so suffocating, sometimes if you tell, you'll feel like a burden. I'd be a lot more worried abt my child holding it in rather than just telling me. I hope you're okay now, but just remember you don't have to go through it alone, you CAN tell people, they might be worried but at least you can get help from whatever is scaring or stressing you out. Feelings (worry) is temporary but someone hiding their emotions to deal with on their own damages your mental health and it can change you, you need to get used to telling someone about how you feel, or later on in life you'll have a hard time opening up. Doesn't that sound a bit worse than making your family worry. You're not alone, ever. I'm sorry if this was too long, but I feel so awful seeing someone go through that, seeing as I'm going through it currently, I know how it feels, and nobody should ever go through that especially young. I hope you have a nice day, and I'm so sorry if my previous comment seemed invalidating or rude.

I just want to say thank you for your kind words. I'm still stuck in my old habit of keeping things to myself, it gets frustrating and lonely most of the times, but I am trying to open up to people (I don't know if just thinking about opening up to people is "trying", but I guess that's better than nothing) I truly, truly appreciate your words. It actually made me cry after thinking about it from my family's perspective. You're probably right, you know? Thank you again. I just want to say that, I'm glad you were born. I'm glad you were born around the same time that I was. And I'm happy that you came across my comment. Though there were misunderstandings at first, I'm glad it was sorted out and turned into this heartwarming moment 😊 It can get a little lonely at times, but I hope you're feeling okay as well. I know things like this are easier said than done, so I hope you're doing what you are telling me to do -u know, opening up to people around us and stuff. Just like you said, you're not alone, ever. The people around us are probably just waiting for us to approach them first. BUT, if you ever feel like you can't open up to people around you, because you're too shy or too scared that you will be a burden, you can always just come back to this comment and type your heart out. I mean, we're probably halfway across the world anyway, chances of us crossing paths are close to none. Even then, we'd still probably never know.
