  • Theo interviews a Mexican and instantly has an accent and is struggling with English. Brandon is one of my favorite fighters to watch, he always leaves it all in the cage.

    • The Mexican guy is trying to weaken his child’s understanding of English, which is one of the most useful languages to know. That seems like a totally fruitless thing, like instead of learning two languages slightly learn one then the other. I get a lot of people attack America because apparently some other incredible perfect places exists somewhere we haven’t found but why reduce your mastery over a language a ton of people speak all over the world. If she’s in a place that only speaks English or speaks two languages and one is English and the other is their native language which is very common in many places her English being weaker would be nothing but a liability. It makes it that much harder to function in many, many places including the way it would in this conversation in this or many other podcasts. And that’s like the least of it. And if he wants her to be really Mexican why not just have had her in Mexico. You always notice the ones that seem the least keen on America are the ones benefiting from and allowed access to the country. Everyone else can’t complain about America they’re too busy desperately trying to get in and away from their part of the world, and then too busy trying to make sure they can stay. And that includes people coming from relativity wealthy successful countries.

  • Love how Theo isnt fake and always transparent, one of my favorites interviews! Not just cause my second last name is Moreno but because I can relate to both of them and perspectives. Brandon soy Mexico de Iguala Guerrero and understand some of the benefits and struggles you mention. Theo also struggle with my demons but yet you both made this hilarious and entertaining! Glad he asked articulate questions that are relevant such as Cartel approaching fighter to sponsor or claim fighters like Chavez was.
